Bought one of these at a gun show. Did need some modification to insert the mag with out pressing the mag release button. Used a Dremel tool to cut off a little bit and to sand down the side of the mag that was catching on the mag release. It only took about 5 mins to fix and now it works great. Not the same quality as the factory mags, and I wouldn't trust it with my life, but great for the range. So, the bottom line is if you don't mind taking 5 minutes out of your day to make a simple modification, it is worth the $ saved in my opinion.

I ordered 1 to see how it works. I have to modify the notch in the magazine for it to go in properly. It will go in if I push in the magazine release button. I compared it to the original, you can see a differance. I will not order another.

This magazine would not insert properly into the weapon. The cutout on the top right side of the mag is not made properly. I had to grind it to match the OEM magazine. It actually loads into the weapon now. I haven't tested it live yet.
clips did not go into gun up all the way, 02/13/2008 |

I found the same problem with my clip not going in all the way, then corrected the problem by removing one round from the clip. Found out the clips actually accepts 8 rounds , rather than just 7 and causing the problem.

I purchased two of these pieces of garbage for my wife's 380. One will not even go into the handle fully and the other has a weak spring and causes the rounds to jam. The cost savings is not worth the aggrivation.
