Manufacturer: Multiple Manufacturers AYP
Item: MAG-345

These are used 30 round magazines made by FN in Belgium, Post WWII manufacture. AYP marked. Very high quality, heavy-weight magazines match original G.I. Magazine Specifications. They are the later version of the US GI Contract "Split Back" magazines, made from 2 pieces of steel. These are new unissued magazines that have been stored for many years in the original FN factory crates. A small number of these show some surface rust freckling and some show minimal amounts of blueing wear from transportation vibration but are new and guaranteed to feed and function in all G.I. Carbines. These are the best quality 30 round magazines available in the country today.

Tried this magazine in the Auto ordinance M1 carbine and also a Quality hardware M1 carbine with no problems no FTE, FTL, or FTC. Some of the best aftermarket magazines on the market.
4.0 Rating In great shape and functional - 2/26/2009Mag M1 M2 Carbine 30 Round Blued Made by FN Used Mil Spec Magazine4.0000

My mag arrived with two tiny spots of surface rust that cleaned up easily with a little WD-40. Otherwise, bluing was intact and it looked like the mag had seen minimal use. Much better than the $15 aftermarket mag I bought from sportsmansguide.com...I can actually load this magazine with stripper clips without the follower taking a nose dive into the magazine. Worth the $30. I should have bought two.
5.0 Rating Nice - 2/5/2009Mag M1 M2 Carbine 30 Round Blued Made by FN Used Mil Spec Magazine5.0000

These magazines are good, you just have to take them apart and give them a good scrubbing with some degreaser, then knock what little rust there is off with some CLP. If the mag spring's too weak, Wolff sells mag springs for the 30 rounders.
2.0 Rating So-So. - 1/22/2009Mag M1 M2 Carbine 30 Round Blued Made by FN Used Mil Spec Magazine2.0000

I ordered a dozen of these mags. All were brand new. My 1943 vintage M1 carb. didn't like the other nine. The springs were to weak and would hang up at the crook of the mag. Fire 5 or 6 rds. then turn upside down and dump the rest out. After filing the corners of the follower and tweaking it, stretching the spring, I now have nine good extra long 15 round mags and two long 20 rd. mags. More is not always better!

I ordered 2 of these FN mags after being told the military, and after market mags were just the msame. They are not the same ! These FN magazines are heavier, the springs are stronger, the followers do not tilt ! I can load Lyman 311008 in these mags, and 30 rounds slammed through the gun resulted in no feeding failures. My after market magazines will not do that. I'll admit they are a little rusty, and mine were used, but still, I am very happy with them.
