| Where to begin? Fresh out of package, the mag follower wouldn't slide down at all. I disassembled mag and noticed that the follower had a plastic casting ridge that was caught on a notched metal cutout in the mag body. After smoothing out the follower so that it wouldn't catch, I loaded the mag and then realized that it was too wide at the top to fit in the gun. Apparently, these mags are built cheaply enough that they spread open at the front of the top, when they are filled. I unloaded the mag, tried to squish the top of the mag body a touch and then re-filled. It would barely sqeeze into the gun and the spring / follower wouldn't keep up with slow fire, without smacking it in between shots. I'm definately not happy, and will probably try to modify this some more to try to get some use out of it. |
