Not a bad magazine if you're looking for sheer volume. The ability to have so many rounds of a large caliber at the ready is mildly awe inspiring. The magazine feeds well and locks in well. Spring is extremely stiff upon arrival, but a bit of time left full of ammo loosens it up a bit.

I received this .308 30 round magazine and it would not lock into place with the magazine release on my CETME. No problem. Used a little knowledge of firearms and magazines with a Dremel Tool. I used a CETME 20 round magazine to adjust the area on the 30 round magazine until the magazine locked in place. I also read one of the reviews where someone could only get 20 rounds in the 30 round magazine. Not so dude. You just need to push down harder. I was able to load this 30 round magazine with 30 rounds of .308 and ready to rock and roll.

Mag is good quality and would be better used as an M14 clip which is basically what it was originally. Unfortunately it doesn't fit my Cetme and it will take G3 clips without a prob.... It could be modified to work with my Cetme but it's an awful lot of effort for an extra 10 rounds. And with G3 mags being so cheap on here, it just makes sense to invest in those.

In the mag in the picture the follower is slanted for the bolt to slide over the mag without a round. The one I received was flat and the bolt hit it with full force. I had a hard a time getting the mag out of my CETME. Hope it works for HK 91. I will be returning mine.

I read the negative reviews and only bought one of these. Big mistake! My gun has a jamming problem on the last 5 or so rounds with the 20 round mags. (I bought 8) The only magazine I didn't have to tweak to get to work right was this one. I don't know what problems others were having, but it worked flawlessly for me. As for the "cheap sleeve" post, all stamped steel mags magazines, have it. It is just the way they are made. If you don't like it buy the aluminum ones.
