These mags are not the best and I would never use one in a gun to defend my life with. Out of the 16 of these I bought 4 were junk out of the package and another 5 took work to get them to feed right.. The 4 I loaded up, the bottom plates popped off ,shooting the spring a country mile and dumping the ammo to the ground. So again I say DO NOT BUY THESE FOR ANYTHING MORE THAN FOR RANGE USE.

I use these in my Glock 34 and my Kel-Tec Sub-2000. No problems in either gun so far after 3-4 months. They are not rated as drop-free, but I have no problems at all with the Glock 34...they drop just fine. In the S2K one of them drops OK, and one does not. One factor with the S2K is the flexibility of the grip...if I squeeze the grip hard when pressing the release, none of my mags will drop free...not even OEM Glock mags.

I have been a close protection specialist for over 20 years and have seen more than my fair share of both violence and training gear. Suffice it to say that with this magazine, you get a lot more than what you pay for. The Glock corporation should have never given the Koreans the right to manufacture these magazines because they FAR exceed expectations. Our team (8 members) put over 400 rds. each through the 10 magazines that I purchase this Fall and not ONE single failure in +/- 4,000 rounds of factory ammo. In fact, the only stoppages we experienced were with the Glock OEM magazines. I would also point out that the "myth" that a Glock 17 magazine will seamlessly fit a model 19 (with just the butt sticking out of the handle) was proved erroneous. In our tactical re-loading drills, we had 3 model 19's that would not properly seat a Glock OEM magazine [sticks during ejection] and we did NOT experience that same problem with these KCI Glock 17 magazines. Suffice it to say that we have armed the team with either a model 17 or 19 and the 19 guys (smaller hands) are carrying two (2) of these KCI mags as back up and our model 17 guys are carrying three of the KCI's as their primary and 2 back-up magazines. If anyone is having trouble loading these things---practice!

I bought this two pack, immediately took them apart and cleaned out the excess plastic like many people have. They load a little funny and were very tough to get the 17th bullet in the first few times, but I just shot 200 rounds and they worked great. I'll keep the factory mags for home defense, but geez for $10 these are awesome for plinking. I'm buying more!
