bought 2 mags with the free mag pouch, had to disassemble both and oil them so the springs would work properly, after that still have feeding issues to this day, strongly recommend if you do buy these that you use only for training, I would definetly NOT depend on these for self defence purposes.

I purchased two of the South Korean KCI Glock M19 magazines, received them this morning and took them to the range to check them out.
After reading all the reviews I was skeptical, but being a Glock Armorer with plenty of parts, I thought: "If I have problems with them, I'll rebuild them with Glock springs and followers."
To my surprise both magazines functioned perfectly.
Just like Glock factory magazines they were difficult to load fully at first but after 4 or 5 reloads they began to soften up and take 12 to 14 rounds. I had none of the problems with the springs as some reviews had.
I'll leave them loaded for a few days and then I should be able to get 15 rounds in both of them.
Feeding was perfect. I fired about 50 rounds thru each magazine without a single malfunction.
As a firearms instructor, I'm not recommending these as primary defense magazines, but for practice, they are excellent.
I suspect the manufacture date on the packaging (8-10-09) may explain the perfect functioning. The South Korean KCI company may have listened to the customer complaints of prior manufacture and made corrections to the mags.
As a Glock Armorer and one that has daily carried Glock pistols and give law-enforcement and citizen concealed carry training, I can say the Glock factory magazines are not perfect, but they are very reliable. Time, and several thousand rounds should tell me how good the KCI mags are.

Out of all these reviews please listen to me. I was in the Marines for 8 years. I have more guns and ammo than anyone I can think of besides my brothers in arms. I bought 5 of the 15 round mags and I couldn't fit more than 6 rounds in them. I left 6 rounds in the mags over night to loosen them up. Then the next day I was able to fit 13 rounds in them. I never fill them completely full so the springs don't wear. I waited another night to find out the the springs were completely worn out. They would'nt feed the rounds for crap!! I would never bring these to a gun fight. Trust me. Cheaper than Dirt is an awesome company and will take care of you though. You're better off spending a few more bucks for your life, if you know what I mean.

I bought these about a month ago and must admit i was skeptical because they were so much cheaper than factory mags. They looked identical(practically) so i loaded them up. Not a single falure of any kind in 1000 rounds each. Like the other said, quality control must be hit n miss. I'm gonna keep buyin til a miss cuz mine were hits. TY CTD
Worthless

Bought these on a 2-for-1 deal with an included magazine holder. These magazines are not worth buying if they were free. Loading them is a chore, as the bullet guide does not stay level. Once loaded, as you push 1 bullet at a time out, after @ 5-6, the spring is not strong enough to raise the remaining bullets so they could be loaded in the chamber. Sometimes, the remaining get stuck and you have to tap the magazine to get them out. Maybe I just got 2 lemon magazines, but I will not buy anymore.

i needed multiple mags for my glock asap. I bought eight of these on a hunch, turns out it wasnt a bad choice. Nothing as good a factory most of the time but if your needing cheep mags< go with these- the springs are tough at first but once you break them in its fine. Remember they are chinese. Dont trust your life with them.

I read all the reviews like I normally do and as anyone can see they are mixed. I have to admit that I was a little concerend when I purchased them. This falls back to trust but verify. I am very happy with this purchase. I bought 2 sets of these magazines and I have had no real problems with them. Yes the spring was tight when loading the first few times but I got no jams when firing. BTW.. The springs in the factory magazines were a bit tight as well. I would highly recommend this item to my friends or anyone elese. Oh wait I already have.
Everyone has thier own opinion... I would recommend you try them out and see for yourself. I am sure if you have a problem then CTD will take care of you like they do anyone of thier customers..
Thanks CTD another great item at a fair price. Ill be getting more.

I pretty much ignored all the reviews and bought this and I know wish I didnt buy it. There is a feeding problem and a loading problem, I tried to take off the bottom so I can bend the spring but couldnt even get that off..DO NOT buy this just buy the factory glock magazine.
Worth the money

These magazines don't have quite as nice a finish as the factory Glock. They have some rough edges where the factory mags are deburred. The springs start off a little hard to get all 15 rounds in. I have since learned that the magazines need to be broken in. The springs will rotate a little over time and allow you to eventually get all 15 rounds in. Other than that, just as good as factory.
Disappointed but Fixable Too

I agree with One Smart Cookie. I could get no more than 4 or 5 rounds into the magazine before all sorts of twisting and canting of the rounds took place. I am in the process of taking all four apart and performing the necessary work on the spring. Plus, I have taken a punch and repeatedly exercised the magazine springs as a "break in" effort. It seems to be helping. As with another reviewer, I would not bet my life on these magazines.

These work just as good as the Glock factory magazines. With several hundred rounds down range not one failure of any type. I'll be buying more soon, while I still can.

I bought these mags along w/ a Lone Wolf conversion brl (.40 to 9mm). They are great for range use, no problems in over 250 rds. I imagine, like most budget aftermarket goods, the quality control is hit or miss, so I probably got lucky with my good mags...or those w/ bad mags were unlucky. (Lone wolf conversion brl is great, by the way)
DOES NOT WORK, but fixable

Received 6 of these. Could not put more then 6 rounds in before mag jammed. Had to hit sides and just dump rounds out.
The problem is that there is too much pressure on the front end of the bullet and not enough pressure on the back.
Disassembled the mag, bent the springs a bit so that there is more pressure applied to the back of the rounds. Now I can put 14 rounds in and they all cycle without problems.
Would not trust my life to this mag at all, but not bad for practice once you fix them.
disappointing!

for my Glock 19, my carry gun, I foolishly bought these mags. The feeding problems/spring & follower issues (see other reviews)mean that I'd be foolish & possibly dead to use these mags in my carry gun.
I'm gonna request a refund.

I bought a pair of these KCI mags and took them out to the range for the first time yesterday. They seem to feed ok but sometimes when loading them, the mag doesn't put enough pressure on the top most round causing it to almost fall out.
Edges of the top of the mag were also rough and will need some gentle sanding. No jams, failure to feeds etc so far though.
good, with work

had trouble loading rounds, Easy Fix, Pull spring out and bend about 15 degs. to the front. then reset spring in mag. This will put more pressure on rear of round.

when i got these mags, i put them next to my factory mags, and honestly could not tell the diference if it were not for the glock symbol on the back of the factory mags. these mags are built just as well as the factory, and there as tough or tougher than the factory originals.

I was pleasantly surprised to find these mags to be of superb quality. They loaded & cycled flawlessly in my Glock. They are made to the same specifications as the Glock factory mags. Would not hesitate to recommend. I've ordered more!

Absolute garbage. With each and every round loaded into these mags, the magazine follower tilted back. Loading each round I had to depress the magazine follower with the Glock loading tool, insert the round, relase the Gloack loading tool, press down the front of the magazine follower or last round loaded, then slide the round the rest of the way in, and finally, tap the bottom of the magazine against a firm surface. I have yet to take them to the range and fire, but I expect several failure-to-feed stoppages. I will probably wind up using these mags as targets for plinking with my M4. We should be sending this manufacturer's magazines to our enemies. They'd do a fine job of effectively disarming them.
