These magazines, all five of them I currently have, have performed perfectly in approximately 300 rounds through each. One reason may be the stiffer, i.e. "heavier" spring. It is a little difficult to get the last round loaded the first time. But letting a mag sit for a couple of days minus that one round will "reset" the spring to its full capacity and allow full loading. These stronger springs are a real improvement in that they promote more reliable feeding and may extend spring life to boot. As a side issue, if you have a truly defective Glock magazine, spend the $2.41 and sent it to Smyrna with an explanation of the problem. In seventeen years of Glock ownership, I've never had them refuse to replace a magazine.

Far and away better than non-factory mags. Just like the handgun, easy to disassemble and clean. Buy these before we're forced to ten round mags again!

I had 3 magazines for my G-19 prior to the Clinton "assault weapon ban". The pre-ban magazines were flawless. The new ones, I guess you could call them "post-ban", were much harder to load and I thought I would break one before getting that 15th round in it. If these are the "new production" then Glock has taken a step backwards.

Outstanding factory mags...of course. As for the safety of Glock weapons. They are designed to prevent an accidental discharge while carrying, loading/unloading, or if dropped, not to prevent anyone from purposely pulling the trigger and firing it, dummy. NO weapon is safe in the hands of a two year old! Children should always be educated regarding gun safety and closely supervised when handling firearms. Check out the Eddie Eagle program at nra.org.

Excellent mags, expected nothing less, and to the previous guy, Glocks "internal safties" are a joke my as an experiment I let my two year old shoot a snap cap he did so without a proplem. so for being safe in a childs hands Glock gets an F

Yes these are very nice, DUH, they are from glock... and to the last guy...glocks actualy have 3 internal safties...just becuase they do not have the classic external safe/fire switch does not mean they do not have a safety...

these mags are sweet. the glock is light weight and it does Not fail if you shoot all of the rounds. i recommend these. the gun may not a safety but it is reliable.
