Bought 2 of these to use with my Ciener Conversion in my M&P15. I have been very happy with them. I was having problems with my conversion until I started using better ammo. After using better ammo I like them better than Ceiner original mag. I will buy more.

This is a great magazine for the .22LR it worked flawlessly with all 200 rounds i put it today. i own a rock river arms m-4, and got the 22.LR conversion kit. the only problem with this magazine, and this is why i dint give it a 5 star rating was, when loading, after about round 15, it starts to get kinda hard to load. it would have been nice to have some kind of assist on the magazine like there is with other .22LR mags. when i shoot using this magazine, i usually only fill it up to around 15 rounds, much easier that way. otherwise its awesome! i would deffinately recommend buying this product.

I own 5 of these mags for my Keltec PLR - 22 and have shot at least 500 rds throug each without a problem. It does seem that the follower will eventually wear out from the slide catching after last round but they sell them dirt cheap on the blackdog websited. Best price for these mags here and quick shipping!! Thanks guys

I bought 2 of these for my AR and I have fired around 600 rounds through each mag. After 300-400 rounds I had to completly dissasemble to clean. The plastic loading piece above the spring on each clip has been very problematic. When I initially load the rounds it will get stuck just below and allow the rounds to fall out and be loose. I noticed it gets a nick on it which causes it to jam inside the mag. To me that says a design flaw. I wont buy anymore of this brand. If you shoot just a few rounds, then they will be fine, but if you like to shoot alot like me, then I would try a different brand.

Bought 4 of these mags for my keltec plr22 and they work great they will hold 26 but I only load them to 25 to give the spring a little break. Best price around for these clips especially with the cheap shipping offered by CTD.

If your looking for mags to use with your ciener 22 LR conversion kit, these are the bomb. The mags are made out of high grade plastic and after taking it to the range a bunch I have yet to have any problems with it. I've dropped em and besides a few scuff marks, they perform wonderfully. I have few of these and they have yet to fail me on the range. Here is how I rate this item... 1. Quality construction = 5 out of 5 stars. The only thing better would be to use the same plastic polymer that semi-autos are made of (like glock, springfield XDs, etc). However these will probably outlast me 2. Installation = 5 out of 5 stars. Too easy - the only way you can screw this up is if you had problems in kindergarten putting square pegs in round holes. 3. Ease of use - very easy to use & just like regular .223/5.56 mags = good for muscle memory exercises/training, without having to spend big $$$ on .223 ammo. 4. Flexibility - I use this item with my Stag Arms M4 with the ciener conversion bolt and these work great. They also work with magazine binders/doublers that are used with .223/5.56 mags (devices that hold two mags side by side with for quick mag changes). Its a versatile product that performs as advertised. 5. Cons - I have yet to run into a problem, but then again I havent hit the deck hard with this, do a drop test or throw it across the range, so there is a possibility that a problem could occur, but I'll let someone else do that (I like taking care of my equipment and it takes care of me). Additional notes: some have said these need taking apart and some sanding is needed for them to work - I have never had this problem, but since others have had this problem, I rate this product 4 stars. I would also note that the first few times of loading the mags, the springs are a bit stiff, but after a break in period you'll find these things are great. Anyway thats my review of Blackdog 22 LR Mags. You can watch a vid I made where I use this product on the range by checking out this video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdzihlMyPDI I also plan on doing a more indepth review of the Ciener 22 LR conversion bolt. Anyway I hope this helps - me and my family really like this product. In conclusion I would highly recommend this product to ppl who have ar-15, m4s, etc and dont want to break the bank by using .223 ammo (22 LR is so much cheaper). Take care & God bless, Steve aka SafeArmsReview

These mags work flawlessly. They are a bit tight when you load them the first few times but they do loosen up. I have had no problems with the 3 that I have.

I bought two of them for my M&P15 with a conversion kit, and they fit snug and work well. One problem though, one mag had the follower spring wedge itself between the follower and the magazine body. This caused the follower to stick into place. Fortunately the magazine comes apart easily and I was able to diagnose the problem and with a some needle nose pliers I was able to bend a small section of the spring to make it sit on the follower better. This solved the problem and I have had no issues since.

Make sure you get the right mag

These mags are great. The negative reviews from people like Backwoods Bil are simply because they bought the wrong magazine for their conversion. DUH. If you have a ciener, CMMG, Spikes, IT WILL WORK NO MATTER WHAT. If you have the military or oly arms conversion get the mag that works for that conversion. Its not rocket science

Backwoods Bill made a mistake when posting his review. He posted for the M261/Oly mags when this is for the Ciener mags. As I said before.... excellent mags, no problems!!! . Im buying more right now!!!

This mag works really well! I have three of the 1st generation/style mags from Black Dog Machine, and this 2nd gen magazine is just as good. Fits the overall size of a regular AR magazine.

I've purchased about 25 of these 27rd. mags and I am very pleased with them. They have worked flawlessly for me. Very first/intial loading is tough but after the first one it's easier. Works good in both semi and full-auto guns.
