Magpul's 30-round Polymer Magazine is a lightweight 5.56 NATO, M-16 compatible magazine that features a pop-off storage/dust cover that alleviates pressure from the feed lips, allowing for long-term storage of loaded magazines. PMAG also has a stainless steel spring that resists corrosion, constant-curve geometry, and an anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower for increased reliability. Your choice of two colors, with or without a MagLevel indicator window.

If there is a better quality or functioning AR magazine out there, I have yet to find it. I have seen these things keep on running when jammed full of enough sand and grit to choke down a half dozen steel AR mags. Dust covers are slow, but awesome when needed. If you are looking for speed from a MIL-SPEC mag pouch, do yourself a favor and order the Mag-Pul Ranger floor plates, or a kydex mag carrier that is made to fit these. Otherwise mags can be tough to get out of a tight canvas mag pouch.

Bought one, I've got some some cheap metal mags, some less cheap metal mags and I have a colt mag my dad had from the army (35+ yrs old). All work flawlessly in my bushy but this plastic mag double fed on me a couple times in about 120 rounds. One was on a fully loaded mag so I'll give it a pass on that but I'm still not sold.

These magazines are much better than the standard military issued and they don't cost much more if any. You'd be crazy not to buy these mags.
