ak 47 10 round mags, 05/05/2008 |
| Reviewer: josesilva613 |
| just received 10 rnd ak mags. they worked perfect, no jams, miss-feeds. they looked fine, well made, no weld problems or imperfections. good well fit, I'll probably buy a few more. |
great mags, 05/03/2008 |
| Reviewer: darkside |
| I read all the reviews and still desided to order a few. I bought 4 to try out. Well let me tell ya, I had no problem with them fit my AK no filing, slightly lose but nothing to cry about. Two mags hold 12 rounds,1 held 11,1 held 13. So the only problem I found was the round count other than that they are brand new well built and I am going to grab more |
awful welds, 04/27/2008 |
| Reviewer: Holy crappy mag Batman |
| Just look at the picture...see the three spot welds!!!! These are a mediocre attempt to take a 30 rd mag and make it a 10 rounder....so it's legal to own/sell |
NOT BAD AT ALL!!!, 04/17/2008 |
| Reviewer: The Gun Collector... |
| Yes they are new but if anyone knows anything about the AR-15/M-16 they are using the same followers (GREEN) for the AK-47 10RND mags here, not a bad idea and hey you can always use a small mag, easy to conceal or pack, hunting! For 10 dollars not a bad deal! The Gun Collector... |
crappiest ever seen, 04/07/2008 |
| Reviewer: U.S Made? |
| I got this in the mail and it looked used along, with a horrible weld job. The mag follower was a joke. Had to replace follower because it would tilt forward and cause a jam. Not a 10rd mag. Mine was a 12rd until I replaced the follower and now its an 11rd. U.S doesn't know what it's doing when it comes to AK mags. Leave it to the countries that ACTUALLY use the AK to make good mags. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS! |
New manufacture date for 10rd, 04/05/2008 |
| Reviewer: Frank, |
| I was afraid to order these after seeing such mixed reviews. I am now holding 8 of these. I just ordered them, and upon close inspection, I see that there is a new date stamp on the decal attached to the plastic bag that they come in. The date is Feb. 7, 2008, so the mags must be the latest ones and CTD must have seen the problem and fixed it with these new looking mags. I have not used them yet, but they look great. There does not appear to be glossy paint on mine. They look like real blue steel. The spot welds are nice and the finish is pretty good. If a little filing is needed, I can blue them right up. These look fine. I will write back again after I try them out. Nice work, CTD. You even included a return shipping label in case I want to return them. I am, for sure, going to be a return customer. Thanks. |

A piece of crap!, 02/10/2008 |
| Reviewer: J. R. |
| This magazine - unfortunately I purchased two - is worthless. I can't even get a round to feed in my rather expensive Bulgarian AK-47. Do not wastes you time purchasing this product. I hope I can get CTD to take it back.

Laughably bad!, 01/17/2008 |
| Reviewer: John |
| I bought two of these 10rd magazines and was shocked to see them when they arrived. The product is described as blue. The only part which is blued steel is the magazine foot plate. The body is painted glossy black, and the follower is a cheap plastic giving it a very toy-like appearance. The magazine looked like a Frankenstein's monster, reassembling two magazines spot-welded, one on top of the other.
On testing out the magazines on a Romanian AK and Yugo M72 RPK, the top of the magazine proved to be too narrow, and as a result, it wobbled badly in both rifle's magazine wells. On testing at the range, both magazines failed to feed every single round. A complete failure. Both mags have of course now been returned for a refund.
If you want 10rd AK magazines, you would be wise to spend your money on the Romanian double stack 10rd magazines, or the ProMag polymer 10rd AK magazines, instead of this laughably bad attempt to pass off some type of wierd, cheap magazine as an AK-47 magazine.

Great mag, 12/30/2007 |
| Reviewer: celtic |
| I have a SKS Model M That uses ak 47 magazines. I have not been able to find a Mag that seems to fit right until now. The mag I recieved arrived at my door 2 days after I ordered it. I was very suprised at the quality and the finish of the mag after reading the reviews. The mag fit great, seems durable, and feeds great. It is painted black as oposed to blued, but its only a mag. I am very happy with the purchase, and will be ordering a couple more. Thank you CTD great product. |
Yeah...., 12/16/2007 |
| Reviewer: Bill |
| Well, mine was in execelent condition. I live in NY, so its a good thing that this is pre-ban. Mine was not painted, it was blued. Its exactly as shown in the picture. When it has rounds in it, it fits very nice, without rounds, it's alittle loose, but my other mags are the same, and its not too loose like its going to fall out, just enough to rattle alittle. For the price, this was a truely execelent deal, im definatly comming back. |
bad, 10/30/2007 |
| Reviewer: Yugo Ak-47 |
| feeds ok but it fits so loosely i feel like its going to fall out, it rattles around in the mag well like crazy, its like they chopped the top and bottom off of a 30 rd mag threw away the middle and spot welded the top and bottom together to make a 10 rd mag, crap mag in my honest opinion, and as others have already said its painted black... |
Allright but..., 10/02/2007 |
| Reviewer: Coyote |
| First of all the magazines didn't match which is something I was kind of expecting. They're also covered in some kind of rubber or latex paint which isn't a bad thing, but again unexpected. Also one magazine needed some minor adjustment but nothing too major just a bend in the right place because the spring wasn't being stopped and was hitting the lips of the magazine causing a jam. I'd reccomend it only if you're restricted by state law. |
MAK-90 Anyone?, 08/10/2007 |
| Reviewer: T-Pig |
| Has anyone used these exact mags in the Norinco MAK-90? In the land of Dianne Feinstein, I am terrified to take my 30's out of my house for fear that I may be branded a terrorist or a baby-killer. I'd like to replace two of my 30's with six 10's, but I'd like to hear from someone who has had success using these mags in the MAK-90 before I buy. Thanks for the help. Shoot safe. Signed, T-Pig.
*****C.T.D. review editor......I realize this isn't exactly a product review, but I would be very grateful if you would please allow me to post this message here anyways. If I get a good response, I will buy the mags and then I will write a legit review. I think that posting this message could potentially sell as much product as a normal review might, maybe even more. Thank you for your understanding. Signed, James (T-Pig).***** |

Not a 10 rnd. Mag, 08/03/2007 |
| Reviewer: Calgunner |
| I bought the mag to try it out (considering it was $9.97), only to find out that it will hold 11 rnds. Which is illegal in our state (guess where I'm at).
The finish is okay, it has a black paint that I'm pretty sure would chip easily. The followers are okay. Not sure if it will work in my AK, and will not wait to find out. It's going back. |
Just need minor fitting, 01/01/2007 |
| Reviewer: Greg D |
| I picked up several of these recently, and they are not as bad as the reviews above. The lug at the back needed a bit of minor filing on the bottom to get it to lock in when loaded. After that, they worked just fine. Anyone with a ruler, file, a bit of patience and about five minutes can make them work. Also, this was only on two of the five that I bought as well, the others worked right off. For the price, they are a better deal than I've seen most places. |

Poor quality!, 12/22/2006 |

| Magazine will not fit Romanian WSAR10. Magazine appears to have been built wrong. Will not fit any other AK's that I have seen. Tried this magazine on several other rifles. No Go! It's a paper weight now. |
Not The One In Picture, 12/14/2006 |
| Reviewer: Vince C |
