Size matters, 04/28/2008 |

| What an awsome light - very durable - if i could change anything i would just make it a peep smaller - its got some size to it ! But are you buying a light to make your gun look cool or to see in the dark - wouldent trade it for anything - but would shrink it if i had the" honey i shrunk the kids" machine ! |
battery killer, 04/28/2008 |

| These are great flashlights without a doubt. I have two of them but I can't even tell you how much money I have spent on the batteries for them. $10 for 2 batteries and they don't last long at all. You will spend way more on the batteries than the light itself real quick. My advice is either buy the surefire led one that last longer or buy a tactical rechargeable flashlight. I purchased a
500 lumen rechargeable torch from Sportsman's guide for a little over a 115 and do not need to buy batteries. Rechargeable is the only way to go.

Fantastic Light, 03/28/2008 |

| I really cannot say enough about this little light. It is super bright and durable. I am an astronomer and I carry two flashlights to the observatory: my red-filtered mini-mag for working and my G2 for setup/takedown and as a self defense tool. It will seriously blind someone for a couple seconds allowing you to get the upper hand or get away.
If you cannot afford one of the Surefire "Defender" lights (E2D or 6PD), this is the next best thing. |
Extremely Bright, Affordable Surefire, 02/23/2008 |
| Reviewer: TJames143 |
| This is an excellent all around flashlight, and, while not the brightest or longest lasting SureFire, it is the most affordable, and it is definately brighter than any similarly price flashlight out there. It is a great flashlight for anyone who is interested in an affordable high power flashlight, or the nighttime varmint hunter who needs a good sturdy light.
I have abuse this light: Dropped into murky swimming pools, empy swimming pools, from trees, onto concrete, but still it shines on!
I recomend this flashlight to anyone, however, be warned, the batteries do not last vey long and give little warning when they go out, so this is not an every day use flashlight. |

| I just wanted to throw a comment out on this product. I purchased this right before a tour in Iraq. I used it in the battle for Fallujah when we went door to door. Surefire flashlights are incrediably reliable and anything 65 lum or higher will temp blind someone. This product saved my life countless times during night raids. The only downside is you cannot use this as a normal flashlight and batteries are expensive nd you blow through them at a rapid pace. Use this for home defense. |
Light Bulb Problems, 12/24/2007 |
| Reviewer: Surefire Light |
| Bought this flashlight and it seemed to be the answer to my search for a perfect tactical light. However, when turned on for more than a few minutes, the light gets very, very hot. Too hot to touch. Recently, was searching a vacant house for bad guys and the light suddenly stopped working. The bulb had cracked apart? Leaving me in the dark. Still waiting for an answer from Surefire as to what my recourse will be. I will update this comment when they decide what they are going to do for a customer. |
Fantastic light, 11/20/2007 |

| Thought I lost it hunting and found it 2 months later in the bed of my truck. I figured it would be ruined after rolling around and 2 months of Oregon rain, but it turned right on. The brightest light for the size I have ever seen. Run time is short but I didnt buy it to run for hours. |
Outstanding Flashlight, 09/13/2007 |
| Reviewer: Screaming Eagle |
| I bought one of these and a pressure switch (TAC-206) to mount to my tactical shotgun. It was such an outstanding flashlight, I ordered a second one that I mounted to my AR-15. The flashlight is so bright and compact that I usually do not leave it mounted to my AR... it is my primary flashlight. Honestly, I might buy a third one so that I can leave this one on my AR and still have one to carry. |

Great Light, 02/22/2007 |

| This light is excellent. It's a lower cost version of the 6P. The only complaint I have with the G2 is that it's not available with a Luxeon Lamp. Even though it's only offered with a Xeon it's still the best Mini flashlight for the money.
You can get a Luxeon upgrade for it, bu the lamp is so expensive that it's not practical nor worth the it.
It works well for all applications. Industrial, Tactical, search and rescue and home use.
The 61 Lamp is not worth it. The 120 Lumen bulb is too unstable. They fry up or burnout quickly. |

| I have used a lot of cheaper flashlights, I was buying a new mini maglight every couple of months. I figured I was wasting to much money I should just buy a good light. Mini-mags will cost 10-15 buck and for less the 40 bucks you can have a light that last for years, mine is going on three years and only the the batteries have been replaced. Worth the money. I like them so much I give one to my btrother for his birthday two years ago and his is still working strong. |
