This is a very bright light, in fact it is brighter than the aimshot 135 lumen light (see my aimshot review). I would recommend this light over the aimshot. You can even get the upgrade bulb for the 6P that will make it twice as bright.

Can't beat it!

The price is great and so is the light. It is very bright and handy. I have it mounted to my M4 and have not had any problems yet.

Very Happy!

Excellent tactical light to attach to your Ar-15 picatinny rail with 1 inch light grip. Just make sure to replace it with a Sure Fire L.E.D. and it will last forever.

One of the best weapon-mountable lights I've bought. Assembled it into the front grip with flashlight holder With ON/OFF trigger (Item #: ARR-606) and replaced the bulb with the LED assembly (MFR #P60L). All together, the assembly allows for temporary ON-OFF via the rear push-button on the flash light (the trigger on the front grip pushes a plunger into the back of the light, to activate the switch). If needed, you can do a half-twist of the flashlight, which will turn the light to constant ON (holder assembly only holds tight on the back portion of the flashlight that rotates the ON/TEMP/OFF functionality). Great combination for a sturdy grip, great light, great functionality on either your AK or AR platform (also love the UTG AK Metal Quad Rail hand grip assembly (item #AKS-101 that allowed me to attach the foregrip to my SAR-1 AK).

Great flashlight! I lost it during the day guiding a group of tourists. couldnt really stay long looking for it on the trail because the tourist paid money for a hike, not a flashlight hunt. after hours i looked and looked for it. a week later i found it in a porcupine nest. took it out with pliers, cleaned off the mud, muck, quills in the lanyard, moisture, and voila!!! shined bright as ever, for about 40 minutes longer because i kept playing with it back to the hiking lodge. awesome piece of equipment ive invested in at an awesome price also. thank you CTD!!!

I have purchased two of these lights, one for my Bushmaster m4 a3 and one for my AK. They are extremly bright and work well with a pressure switch. They will eat the batteries up though if you use it everyday.

I've owned a 6p for several years. I can think of no better all around flash light for tactical operations. You can mount this on your rifle or handgun with many adapters, or hold it in your hand for tactical hand gun operations. However, do not plan on useing this light for day to day lighting uses. It will eat up your batereys faster then you would think. And be sure to have spairs handy, because when it dies, it will go all at once. You don't have a lot of warning.

I have this flashlight mounted to my m16 and it works great. Its big enough to put out a ton of light and its small and light enough to not weight down the end of my rifle all that much. The thing eats batteries for breakfast and those batteries aren't the cheapest either. There are plenty of companies out there that will make knock offs that are half the price and pretty much the same thing. If you aren't worried about accessories to the light then I recomend buying one of those.
