Great light!, 06/02/2008 |

| This light mounts solid... It is brighter than I expected, which is a good thing. I haven't had the heating issues a few of the others have suggested, nor has it had any other issues. Works great! |

| I just got this for my Mossberg 590 and it fits and works great. I didn't have the problem with the switch heating up as others did, but I did notice if you don't put enough pressure on the switch the light dims. The only downside to this is it is a pain to hold it together while you are mounting it to your gun. Fits very solid and is extremely bright and has a well focused beam. |
Good Light, 01/15/2008 |

| I have this light on my Sig 556 and have the same MFG pressure pad switch. I love it, a very bright light that shoots a focused beam at night time further than I need. I have owned several brands of these type lights and they all get hot on the lense area of the flashlight. However, I have had no problems with the pressure pad getting hot. The button switch does better for hand held use than mounted I have found.
I use it only for home defense and have a LED I use in the field just because it gets 3 times the run time. But this one will blind and ID anyone within 15 yards on in a room and that what I have it for. |

Great Light - Poor Switch, 03/14/2007 |

| I mounted this on an AR-15 three weeks ago - great light, but the switch get VERY hot after about 10 seconds of use. I think this is suppose to be an on-off pressure switch, but the light gets brighter the harder you press the switch. You have to wear a glove to use it. I contacted TacStar who told me they were willing to exchange it, but only after I returned mine. I was going to buy another switch and have a spare, but they cost $30. And I just read a review from another buyer who has the same heat problem with this system, so I don't want to buy a spare switch if I am going to have the same problem. If I knew I was going to have problems like this, I would have spent the additional money and bought a Streamlight system. |

| This light was more than I wanted to spend, but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for! Very high quality manufacturing with one of the brightest beams I have ever seen. I attached this to my Remington 870 12 gauge and was amazed at what a perfect bright spot light this places in the shooting field. Was easy to mount. Probably the best light for the money out there. |
