Ultimate weapons light with pressure switch gives you the advantage during covert operations. This is a complete tactical light set with twist-on or push button remote pressure switch and picatinny mounting deck. Features a super bright light, requires two 3V batteries, and mounts on your picatinny rails, imported. Light intensity measures about 60 lumens. Cheaper Than Dirt LT-TL101

Pretty Good, but..., 05/14/2008 |

| I bought this light for my Bushmaster carbine. It is good for what I need it for, namely short range tactical use. It is NOT a long range light at all, but within 5-10 meters pretty bright, but it drops off to about useless over 20 meters. It took some Loc-tite to keep the screws tight while firing, but based on some of the reviews I planned for that. I've put about 150 rounds through the weapon with the light mounted, and it still works fine. I agree that the pressure switch is a pain, and the cord is difficult to work with, but... I used some of the Velcro tape for holiday garlands to wrap the cord in place and it holds great. I still plan to replace it with a SureFire once my budget allows, but for now it works. |

| I read all these reviews before I bought this light. It wasn't very expensive so I still thought I'd give it a try. I have it mounted on my Mossberg 500 Persuader. I've played with it and tried to get it to screw up. I would sit and click it on and off over and over. I have no idea how many times I did. Well over 100 for sure. It still works like new and just as bright.
I to take it off before I do any long shooting sessions. I do take the pistol grip stock off and put on the regular stock to shoot clays. I did test it shooting it with it on. I was shooting 3" magnums. I shot about 18 times. Seemed fine.
I change it back and put the light and pistol grip as well as a laser when I want it for home defense. I know the laser is kind of unnesessary but I had one on hand. I don't know why I've been lucky. For the money I'm very satisfied. |

| DO NOT BUY THIS LIGHT. The only thing tactical about it is its size. I bought this light and the rail system that went with it for my AR-15 and it is a real disappointment. The light is easily installed, but the light will not hold up to the recoil of the .223. The batteries only hold out for about five minutes and the pressure pad is a real pain depending on how you hold the weapon. I hold the my AR back by the magazine well and with the pressure pad there, the tension on the wire will turn the light on and every time you fire the light will flash. The rail system is also a real pain. It will not hold up to the recoil of the rifle and if you use a standard sling, it will cover up the light |

| DO NOT BUY THIS! This light works great if you don't shoot. It is not shock proof! Mine died after I shot about 30 rnds on my AR-15. I bought a Streamlight TLR-1 LED instead, bigger bucks for hopefully better quality. |

| This light worked great until I started actually firing my Rock River M4. I took a chance on a cheap light and payed the price. Light just quit working and replacement bulbs are nowhere to be found. DO NOT BUY THIS LIGHT!!! Much better off with a Surefire. If price is an issue look at it this way. A Surefire Nitrolon is 38 bucks, but it always works. Spend a little more now and be a happy camper later. |
Look elsewhere..., 04/10/2007 |

| I recently purchased this model for my Mossberg 590, at first look it looks very sturdily made. The issues I had are weight, pressure switch and bulb inconsistenties. I would strongly suggest that you look elsewhere in a mounted flashlight. |
Do NOT buy this!, 04/07/2007 |

| I purchased this for my AR-15 some time ago and got around to installing it to great dismay. It is easy to install and I can say that the pressure switch did fine. However... I would not accept a free one of these if offered to me. The light is not very bright, despite 2 123A batteries. Under fire, the rail mount screws easily start to wiggle free. The light bulb gets hot and stops shinning. And it is definitely not shock proof. Once the bulb goes, which it lasted no more than 30 minutes of sparse use in total, you can forget trying to get a replacement for it. You'd be better off buying a light from Wallyworld or a hardware store and duck taping it to your rifle! With all of the complaints, why is CTD still carrying this good for nothing light? If you buy this light, you're throwing your money away. I wouldn't even run it on a BB or airsoft gun! BUYER BEWARE! |

| I bought two variations of the Leapers weapons light for two different shotgus. Light is very powerfull and bright......when it chooses to work! Do not purchase. After selling both lights for parts on an auction site I bought one by ncstar.....to my dismay it turns out they are the same company and this one did not even fit together the end cap was machined too large for the light body. So , $75 dollars later I am still using a $20 Wal @#$% flashlight on my shotgun! Buyer Beware. I will never again purchase a product from leapers. CTD however is a great site and overall I am very happy with the products. |
cheap bulbs, 03/07/2007 |

| Purchased about 4 months ago. Total usage time was less than 30 minutes when the bulb burned out. I called the manufacturer, Leapers, and they originally said they could do nothing then relented and said that they would send me 2 bulbs if I send an email with my info and credit card number so they could charge my card $3.00 for shipping.
I am reluctant to do this since when I first called a man answered unprofessionally without addressing company name etc.
Bad customer service from leapers, garbage flashlight, DON'T BUY IT!
For $10 more buy the surefire nitrolon. I have one and will buy another.
Be leary of Leaper products.

so far so good, 02/12/2007 |

| I have two of these. One on an 870 riot gun and another on a bushmaster M4. I have changed the batteries on both units using the pressure switch without a problem. The light works great for me in low light tactical situations, but it is by no means a long range Q beam. It has also help me signifigantly reduce the varmit population around my neighborhood. |

Great Tac AR-15 , 11/15/2006 |

| I installed this on my Colt AR-15 with the AR-15 TriRail Barrel Mount (ARR-031) and the BSA Laser Sight (SCP-057). The light is not as bright as I would have hoped but for the size and price it is a great weapon mounted light. Very tuff and easy on batteries which I should add can be found at an electronics store. The beam is also adjustable from a flood to a spot like on sme MAG Lights. I recommend this light for those who are seeking a dependable light for their weapon. |
Disappointing Weapons Light, 11/14/2006 |
| Reviewer: TwlGauge |
| Weapon Light #119 is less than a 50-50 proposition. I purchased one that worked perfectly until the batteries ran out. Regardless of how careful you are when you replace the batteries the Pressure Switch will break internally where the flashlight meets the pressure switch's cord. Thinking it was my fault I purchased another unit. It came with both a pressure switch and a endcap button, which the 1st unit failed to have. My hats off to CTD for sending me a free endcap. When it was necessary to replace the second unit's batteries the pressure switch on that one also broke in spite of my being extra careful. Since the units have a very bright light for such a cheap price I resolved to just using the endcap button as an on/off switch. When I put the endcap button on that second unit the light works about 1 in 20 tries. The problem seems to be inconsistent tolorances in the dementions of the units lightbulb assembly. You have to disassemble, align the internal components on the front of the unit and reassemble it. Reliability is shoty as best, when it works the light is very bright but it may shut off under the recoil of a .223 caliber AR-15. It is odd that the first unit purchased seems to work perfectly now that it has a endcap button in stead of a pressure switch. I guess you get what you pay for with this one. |
