| Bought the scabbard hoping to mount it on my ATV. Tried getting a .44 mag. Puma rifle into it and couldn't get it in all the way. Then tried a model 73 and a 86 Winchester with a longer barrel and still a no go (TOO TIGHT). Only thing I see it might be used for is to carry a golf club or two. |

| Nice leather and workmanship BUT, it doesn't fit "most rifles and shotguns" because it is too short and the size of the area where the barrel goes is restricted by the way it is made. Front sights hang up and don't allow you to use all of the Scabbard. Forget the "scope" part but if you are going to use it for a leveraction it would be perfect.
