This sling is absolutely a great buy! It came in an unopened package coated in wax paper as it if it just came off of the Soviet assembly line. Opening the sling was like opening up a piece of history. This sling itself is in excellent quality. The leather is strong and the rivets are solid; there is no way the sling will come off during use. It completes "the look" and is just as functional. As another person said when writing a review, if CTD was charging double, it'd STILL be worth it and plus, you get the history along with it! The sling is a much better buy then some generic sling you will pick up at your local Walmart.

After reading the reviews I thought, why not for the price, just a little trouble folding the leather to fit at top, but it is a lot better than the one that came with my wasr, that annoying clinking of metal to metal is gone, may buy another one just in case.

Pretty good quality sling for the price. It's real unused military surplus and comes wrapped in an unopened oil paper package. There's some very slight discoloration but that's to be expected from a product that's probably been in storage for years and you're not going to get a hand-woven masterpiece for eight bucks anyway. Fits my WASR 10/63 with wooden stock pretty well.

It's an ok product. Arrived on time, but does not fit on my Romanian ak 47 as it's a tad too short for the stock I have on it- still gonna use it just on a duffel bag.

It's a cheap sling, nothing more, nothing less, it's "Issue Style" but a little less quality in that... I have it on my AK... for now.
