Installation requires permanent alteration to the rifle, you have to file down the cover retaining pin to remove it. The mount does not replace the receiver cover as advertised by the manufacturer, it covers the cover. The instructions are difficult to understand for a novice like me. It doesn't seem to have come with all the parts on the instructions list. It does seem well made, but I didn't even attempt to install it because I want to be able to return my rifle to original condition.
