The mount and rings are as cheap as anyone could ever imagine; mount failed to lock in place at the second try, the screws for the rings are way too short do not tight them or the thread will be gone. Optics is OK, but I don't know where they got the 7x from, this is more like a 3x. MY advice; save the near 200 and with 200 more get a real eotech.

The Mako 7x magnifier is actually 4.5x. The twist off mount needed a little filing to get it to twist on straight. The view through the magnifier is very clear. If you are using with a red dot such as a aimpoint or replica. You will need a 1/2" riser. I am a little disapointed with the magnification, but for the price. I can't really complain.

Pretty decent optics. The mount is too short for an eotech. Bought a half inch YHM riser to fix the problem and raise the optic over my buis. Also, the QD twist off mount probably was not designed for this optic either. Had to play with it a lot to get it to work right. If the mount is too far forward or too far back on the tube, you cannot get it on and off. Not bad for the price though.
