5MW Green Tactical Laser Sight with tail cap switch and picatinny rail mount. Green tactical laser sight ensures remarkably quick target acquisition with a crisp, bright laser beam that can easily be seen in all varieties of lighting conditions. Tough, shockproof, aircraft grade anodized aluminum housing protects the laser from the damage of recoil, or being hit or dropped, one touch tactical on/off pressure pad instantly activates the laser using only 2 fingers! These laser sights also feature fully adjustable windage and elevation with an additional locking system, 4 5/8". Daylight range is 100 yards, night range is 1 mile, uses CR123A batteries (one).

All green laser products operating at 532nm are subject to varying degrees of illumination power loss in cold weather (60 degrees Fahrenheit or less) unless proper procedures are followed.

For optimal and maximum illumination in cold conditions:
1) Place 2 hand warmers around unit and secure with self adhering wrap which can be found in drug stores or camo wraps. (The hand warmers slow down the heat loss through the aluminum housing).
2) Place a warm battery (room temperature) in the unit and turn on before going outside.
3) If the power level fluctuates, replace battery with a warm battery and continue use. (Rotate batteries as needed).

so far Im happy with it have not shot the gun with on as yet.But yes the screws were a little rusty salt water from china I guess.Cant beat the price though so give these people a break.

I know that when you buy a cheap green laser like this one you shouldnt expect much but I would hope it would at least work for more than 5 minutes. I picked this up as a birthday present for a buddy of mine and it was fried after one trip to the range. My buddy hesitated to tell me it was junk until 40 days later. I did not call in the warranty info within 30 days of purchase so they would not replace it. BUYER BEWARE (or make sure you register your warranty right away).

I like it, seems a lot more rugged than my other laser. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 rating was that the laser wasn't mounted in the ring with the adjustment screws aligned vertically or horizontally as the instructions indicated. They were somewhere in between. Once I decided where to mount it, I loosened the mounting ring and turned the laser unit just a little so the adjustment screws were oriented correctly. My beam was a little high, so all I had to do was loosen the bottom screw a quarter turn, then tighten the top a quarter. I think I'll like it better than the ones with 2 adjustments. It should hold zero better. As a previous reviewer noted, the adjustment screws seem don't look strong. The allen wrench was a little loose, but I was gentle with it and didn't have any problems. The pressure switch worked, but it didn't come with velcro to attach it. No big deal, since I'll probably never use it. I like the push switch and have it mounted so I can turn it on with my thumb while holding the foregrip. Don't let the 4 adjustments scare you off. It's really not that hard to zero. I'll definitely consider buying another one.

This laser is very bright and I feel it is reasonably sized though some believe it is rather bulky. I took it straight out of the box and switched out the on/off switch for it's pressure switch. It then mounted quickly and securely to my Bushmaster M4A3's Midwest Industries railed forend. It's rock solid. I secured the pressure pad to my foregrip using a roughly 3" long portion of a 1 and 3/4" bicycle inner tube. (A little trick that works like a dream I learned from one of my sergeants) Only thing left to do is head out and sight it in. Speaking of which, everything needed to power (one CR123), mount (two differnt allen wrenches), and calibrate the laser (smaller allen wrench) is supplied. All of this for this price is quite a bargain in my opinion. Thanks Cheaper than Dirt!
