These boresights are great. I have them in many calibers for all my guns. More accurate and easy to use than the magnetic kind that fits in the muzzle of your gun. However, it is not a substitute for live firing to calibrate optics. Use the Chamber Boresight to get your optics close, but then go to the range for live firing to get it perfect.

As a Concealed Weapons Instuctor, I purchased a set of Sightmark Bore Sights to demonstrate in my classes. I soon found that they are not even close to being accurate. I have a XDM 40 that shoots to POA, but the Sightmark indicates that it will hit about 6 inches off at 5 yards. I have never found any brand of bore sight device to be accurate. Don't waste your money on bore sights, they're just a gimmick. The only reason it gets 1 Bullet is because "0" is not an option.

Works fine,I have no complaints. Confirmed what was happening on the range and then helped to make the adjustments to the sights. Very pleased, wish it had an on off switch but removing the batteries was no big deal.

I purchaced one of these to see how well it worked, I know it is pretty straight forward. I installed the batteries and loaded it. This is the essential tool to hone your aim hand/eye skill with your carry weapon. I had no problems with accuracy right out of the box, it fit completely in the barrel with slide closed and full mag locked in place. If you carry a .45 or any other caliber, you need one ! It is also eaiser on batteries than stated.
