I use this as a school/hiking bag. For school it fits my binder, textbooks and lab work. It also holds all my pens/pencils etc. For hiking it holds my water bladder, extra sweater, and socks. I still have more room to put all extra clothing articles. It is a great price.

I purchased this pack about one year ago. I am a firefighter and I have been using this pack as a secondary pack along side of my turn out gear bag. It has held up nicely and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good midsize field pack.

I just recieved this bag in the mail to be mostly used as a new school backpack to carry 2-4 thick textbooks, a netbook, a binder or two and office supplies. The chest/waist straps should make this bag easy to use when I take a road cycle to school approx. 8 miles away. I plan to also use this as a day bag for some hiking through the summer but may need one a bit larger.
