Enhanced MRE meals, each case contains 12 complete meals that include main entrée, dessert, snacks, beverage powder, and condiments, creating the most complete disaster food available.

Meals include a variety of flavors of entrées, desserts, and snacks. The selection may include:
Entree: beef, chicken, or pasta
Desserts: cookies, pound cake, brownie
Snack: fruit bar, crackers, cheese spread, raisins, peanuts, or pretzels.

The MRE accessory pack includes beverage mix, MRE heater, condiments, wet napkin, and a spoon. These are not military issue MREs- they are civilian versions of the complete meals made by the same contractor. Each meal averages 1,180 calories; Ground shipments only. Non-returnable.

The manufacture dates on the boxes and individual components are read left to right. Year is the first digit and then day of the year the last three digits. Example: A-0088 means this case contains Menu A and was produced in the year 2010 on the 88th day. Please remember for best result store these in a low light area at temperatures less then 70 degrees.

I ordered these a couple weeks ago. They arrived a quick 2 days later and as always, love CTD for that. Were manufactured in 2009. The main entree was good. However, all the secondary items were the same (oatmeal cookies, one chocolate chip, crackers, peanut butter, brown frosted pastry, and raisins). Also, the drink mix was horrible. With the lack of variety and only 6 meal options where the only thing that really changes is the main meal, I will be looking for different MRE style food next time.

Did not eat any because I am saving them and have eaten enough MREs in my life already. Code date is A-2009, which if I read the date instructions correctly, makes these about 3 months old. Got at least 4 years of life on them still. 12 meals but only 6 different menus, and all the snacks are pretty much the same. Only 4 bullets because there is no jalapeno cheese, hot sauce, M&M's, or Charms (just kidding about the Charms). Delivery was 2 days. Great job!

The shipping was fast. The MREs arrived on time. Not included: The Hot Sauce , Salt and Pepper, Napkin ( does have wet towel with each ). Not enough to be upset about. My production year was 2009. I was really hoping for a 2010 or 2011. Will work for now.

Ordered two cases, and they arrived within a week. Manufacture date was quite recent (no more than three months old). Best price around and with the fresh product, makes for excellent emergency rations.

Pros: Good taste and the heaters work very well. You don't need anything else; everything needed to heat and eat this product comes with the meal. Cons: Freshness of the product could be better; I don't want to get a 1 year old product that only has a 5 year (or Less) shelf life. The price could be a little lower. Overall: This is a very good product.
