Mag Raven P-25 .25ACP 6 Round Magazine Triple K Nickel Finish Steel

I recieved my mags and they worked great.I didn't have any problem with feeding or jams. The problem was that the description said they would be nickel finish and only two of the four I ordered were actually nickel finish. The other two were just the standard blueing. Now this doesn't really bother me,but my gun is nickel and they just don't match. If I go shooting with my friends I guess I'll just leave the blued ones home for when I go by myself.Other than the finish they are great mags. Peace
Info on Mag and Firing Pin

Just some more info for anyome interested. I found out that the aftermarket steel firing pins that are commonly available will not work with the original mag- but works fine with these. If u read my last post itll make more sense. If you look at the bottom left of the mag youll see it's got a notch. The original factory mag doesnt so the edge is even. So you have to push the factory mag all the way in, that's why it's harder to take out, you have to pull back the magazine spring with one hand and pull out the mag with the other. Since these aftermarket mags have that notch, you essentially dont have to put it in all the way because it stops when it hits the notch. You can push it further past the notch (probably a single mm) and it'll stop just like the factory mag... This is why these clips are easy to unload. If u insert the mag and stop at the notch simply pressing the spring button will allow the mag to drop freely. Here's the most important thing though- the aftermarket firing pin is slightly longer than the stock pin. Because of this, it wont work with the original mag. The pin hits the round as it's being chambered obviously getting stuck. But, with these clips, since you dont need to push them completely in, no problems with aftermarket pin. So just a heads up, besides being a great mag for the reasons mentioned, if you ever get an aftermarket pin like the ones they sell at Numrich u might have a problem using factory mags because they dont have that notch (hard to see in the picture) that gives u the extra clearance for the pin...
Even Better Than Factory Clips!

I only got a few of these because theyre aftermarket and are made in Tawain. I was worried they might jam. The ended up working great so I ordered a bunch more, cant beat $7. Since the clips are small you can easily fit 10-20 loaded clips in one pocket. Ive put 1000 rounds through my raven and the few jams I had were with the original factory mags. These have worked flawless. And the nickel finish matches the chrome nice. The original clip was a grayish color. Another great thing about these - removing the original factory clip on these has always been a pain. You push the magazine spring lever and with the original clips, you still have to remove (will some slight force) the magazine. With these aftermarket clips, simply pushing the magazine release lever will allow the magazine to freely drop out instead of having to be pulled out in the case with the factory clips. That makes a big difference because it allows you to immediately reinsert a fresh clip instead of having to pause and use both hands to remove the factory mag. In fact, I never used to fire my raven much because it wasnt convenient to remove and reinsert the clip like it is with modern pistols that have a magazine release button. Now, with these clips, the release works like a modern button because mag drops right out. PS- Ravens have a rep for being crappy. Alot of the earlier ones had quality control issues. If you got one from maybe 81-84 (84 was the year they closed) it's much better made than the earlier models. Only problem with these is the firing pin is prone to breaking. Ive never had a break though. But u can get steel machined replacements that work better and are much more durable than the factory ones. In act, after I changed to the steel aftermarket (looked different, slightly longer than factory) I noticed the performance of the gun increased alot. Much higher rate of fire. These aftermarket steel strikers bring the slide back into place alot quicker. Before, I had to take a slight pause between shots, like many autos. Really surprising how quickly I can empty this clip now. Unfortunately theyre o/s now... Wanted a few more. And most .25 ammo is o/s too.
