The PMAG is a lightweight 5.56x45 NATO (.223 Remington) AR15/M16 compatible magazine. It features an advanced impact resistant polymer construction, a pop off Impact/Dust Cover for storage, and an easy to disassemble design with a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction from pouches. The PMAG 30 utilizes a resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance and a anti tilt, self lubricating follower for increased reliability.

The PMAG MagLevel features transparent windows on both sides of the body and has a painted indicator on the spring for quick determination of approximate rounds remaining in the magazine.

The Gen 2 revision has been updated with a new body ribbing design which allows for better compatibility with aftermarket mag couplers, a new follower which gives even smoother loading with military stripper clips, and the Impact/Dust Cover can now be snapped onto the floorplate when not in use to prevent possible loss. Along with larger windows and round count numbers on the body, the PMAG MagLevel's stainless steel magazine spring is now coated with mil spec black oxide and the indicator coil painted with a high visibility orange color. Note: Magpul has recently released the Gen 3 M3 Magazine. The magazines listed on this page are Gen 2 PMAGs with the dust covers. The M3 magazines will have a different part number when we receive them.

This is the best AR mag going. It loads easy, it feeds flawlessly, and the window has a clear plastic cover so that mud and dirt does not get inside. I’ll use nothing else in my ARs

Yes, they work after a truck drives over them. Yes, they have a window that lets you see how much ammo you have in each mag. But the real reason you should get some of these is because they look SWEEEEEEET! And we all know function is secondary to appearances.

These mags are the greatest things going in mags. A member of my unit has them and I commented to him that they looked like they would be good mags so he let me borrow them. Flawless feed, the window was easy to use for our LACE report. The only mod he made was colored tape to identify mags for the LACE report. These are the reasons behind my whole fire team purchasing these mags for ourselves, plus can't beat the price.

These hands down are the lightest and most effective clips out there and for the price I wouldnt buy anything else!!!!When the zommbies come out of the ground these will preform when you need them!!!!

Canned Heat is incorrect. The magazine that he is referring to had a completely open window. Magpul PMAG "features transparent windows on both sides of the body and has a painted indicator on the spring for quick determination of approximate rounds remaining in the magazine" The mag is completely closed to the elements. I own several and the only issue that I am aware of is that sometimes on older models, the seam near the rear of the feed lips cracks. This is a known issue to Magpul and they usually warranty this.
