The PMAG is a lightweight 5.56x45 NATO (.223 Remington) AR15/M16 compatible magazine. It features an advanced impact resistant polymer construction, a pop off Impact/Dust Cover for storage, and an easy to disassemble design with a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction from pouches. The PMAG 30 utilizes a resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance and a anti tilt, self lubricating follower for increased reliability.

The PMAG MagLevel features transparent windows on both sides of the body and has a painted indicator on the spring for quick determination of approximate rounds remaining in the magazine.

The Gen 2 revision has been updated with a new body ribbing design which allows for better compatibility with aftermarket mag couplers, a new follower which gives even smoother loading with military stripper clips, and the Impact/Dust Cover can now be snapped onto the floorplate when not in use to prevent possible loss. Along with larger windows and round count numbers on the body, the PMAG MagLevel's stainless steel magazine spring is now coated with mil spec black oxide and the indicator coil painted with a high visibility orange color.

Note: Magpul has recently released the Gen 3 M3 Magazine. The magazines listed on this page are Gen 2 PMAGs with the dust covers. The M3 magazines will have a different part number when we receive them.

I purchased 4 of these on Monday at 10:30 am. They arrived today Wed at 12:00am. I used the 3-5 day Fed Ex home ship method. I live in far west TX. Shipping gets 5 stars!!! These are great mags. I like the Mag pul brand. I decided these would be perfect based off of reviews that said there were no feed problems in different gun setups. The dust cover is a great idea, that it keeps stress off the feed lips is wonderful! Here in the desert there is so much sand and dust. The windows on both sides of mag so lefties will be happy as well...I cant afford cheap crap, these are the best I have tried!!

Shot hundreds of rounds through these mags and never had one problem. Mags always loaded and had one loaded for over a year and shot 100+ rounds through it without a hitch. Great mags worth twice the money...don't let the PLASTIC factor fool you.
