The PMAG is a lightweight 5.56x45 NATO (.223 Remington) AR15/M16 compatible magazine. It features an advanced impact resistant polymer construction, a pop off Impact/Dust Cover for storage, and an easy to disassemble design with a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction from pouches. The PMAG 30 utilizes a resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance and an anti tilt, self lubricating follower for increased reliability.

The Gen 2 revision has been updated with a new body ribbing design which allows for better compatibility with aftermarket mag couplers, a new follower which provides even smoother loading with military stripper clips, and the Impact/Dust Cover can now be snapped onto the floorplate when not in use to prevent possible loss.

Bought one, I've got some some cheap metal mags, some less cheap metal mags and I have a colt mag my dad had from the army (35+ yrs old). All work flawlessly in my bushy but this plastic mag double fed on me a couple times in about 120 rounds. One was on a fully loaded mag so I'll give it a pass on that but I'm still not sold.

These magazines are much better than the standard military issued and they don't cost much more if any. You'd be crazy not to buy these mags.

Awesome magazine. You can't beat the quality for the price. The follower seems smoother than the factory Mag, I was unsure how well it would fit in my Busmaster but it fits perfect with no wobble, it actually fits a little more snug than the factory Mag. Went out the day I got my 2 magazines shot 500 rounds flawlessly. If your looking for an aftermarket Mag look no further.

In my opinion it's the best magazine ou there for an ar15/m16. 15$ is the same price as a brand new steel mag, the pmag is plastic so I hope that in the winter time it dosen't get brittle. But in moderate weather u can't beat it. Plus the dust cover is great for storing loaded mags, when its loaded u put the dust cover on and it takes the pressure off of the feed lips. Again best mag out there.
