The PMAG is a lightweight 5.56x45 NATO (.223 Remington) AR15/M16 compatible magazine. It features an advanced impact resistant polymer construction, a pop off Impact/Dust Cover for storage, and an easy to disassemble design with a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction from pouches. The PMAG 30 utilizes a resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance and an anti tilt, self lubricating follower for increased reliability.

The Gen 2 revision has been updated with a new body ribbing design which allows for better compatibility with aftermarket mag couplers, a new follower which provides even smoother loading with military stripper clips, and the Impact/Dust Cover can now be snapped onto the floorplate when not in use to prevent possible loss.

I bought two of these mags for my new AR-15 build. As for being my first AR, I don't have a lot of experience with mags but for the most part they work very well, the color matches very well, and the dust covers are very sturdy. Cons: they don't slide in and out of a vest pocket as smoothly as a GI/military mag, but are not as bad as the Tapco mag I tried.

So far I don't think there is a more durable or reliable mag on the market. These stand up to a lot of abuse and keep on feeding. I purchased two of these mags and on my way to get two more!

Top of the line mag. Don't waste your efforts on other mags

I ordered this and the Tapco mag. Virtually the same, except on the PMAG I had a difficult time loading it. I would have to use a finger to hold the previous round straight and load the next one. Like it would slide out of its spot. I would go with the Tapco if I bought again, but they are virtually the same.

I have shot over 300 rounds with the 3 clips I have. Two I bought off CTD, one that came with my M&P 15 all three are the same. They are very sturdy, fit great, and feed very well. Very quick delivery by CTD.
