I haved used the High Slide for over a year with a variety of 1911's. The holster is stiff enough at first to require some break-in time; a good thing. Carried for a while, the holster maintains its shape and fits like a glove. The adjustment screw adds just the right amount of tension to keep the pistol in place yet affords smooth draw. The quality of the leather and overall construction is evident throughout. It rides comfortably walking or in my vehicle. I highly recommend this fine holster from CTD to anyone who carries a 1911.

I bought this for a 5" Springfield 1911A1. The holster fits to the body close. It's easy to conceal ( with a parka length jacket) and it's easy to draw. I have no complaints at all. It fit perfect out of the bag. No adjustments were needed. No stiff leather needing some type of break in. If you're looking for a good belt slide for a 1911 you will not be disappointed.
