I bought this bag to hold my airsoft kit. I can fit my vest, pants, blouse, a sweatshirt, helmet, various extra pieces and even put two airsoft rifles in there and still had extra room for more stuff. The bag is strong and seems like it could handle lots and lots of punishment. I agree with other that the backpack straps are a little lackluster. I used them for a few short walks and they started to dig in pretty quick. Overall this is a great bag for the money and you won't be disappointed.

Excellent quality bags. I wish I had ordered these before the price increase. I bought three after reading the reviews. Perfect quality. I am taking one back with me to Afghanistan when I leave Tuesday. Large enough but not too large...Well made. I have been looking and have looked at a lot of bags not as well made and costing more money. This will do everything you want it to do. I am very pleased with this purchase....

This bag is absolutely fantastic. It is big, can hold a ton of stuff, and has a couple of large pouches on the outside. It is also sturdy as all hell (I've given mine some abuse). The only thing I can't vouch for is the back pack straps, as I have yet to use them... but you absolutely cannot beat this for the price.

Ordered two of these to be used as B.O.B. for my wife and I. I am very satisfied. These bags are very rugged and have many pockets; sides, ends and inside! There is even sturdy strap loops on the outside. I strapped my AMD65 on there to complete the package. So far, we have everything we need in these bags: gas masks and filters, body armor, extra clothes and boots, ammo, first aid, rations, mess kits, rain gear and communications. So far, its only 1/2 full!!! The shoulder straps are great and help you tighten up the bag once on your back. I carried this bag with 70lbs in it for 2 1/2 miles with no problems or "bag burns". PERFECT FOR B.O.B. IN A MAJOR CITY WHERE YOU WILL HAVE TO HIKE TO SAFETY!!! GREAT DESIGN!!! THANKS CTD!!!

I purchased this bag with very little expectation of actually using it. ALL the other positive reviews for this bag are spot-on. It has surpassed all my needs. Right now, mine, is packed with a full Combat Kit (Vest, Plates, Chest Rig, Mod Belt, Helmet, Misc pouches), Boots, 7 days of clothes (Shirts, Pants, Socks, Skivies etc), Large Shaving kit, Wet Weather Gear and 2 towels. The only thing I would advise when purchasing this is: The back pack straps are a little thin. Making it a little uncomfortable, on your shoulders, to hump on your back. But a little padding and 100mph tape makes it bearable. Also, I would look into trying to configure your own shoulder strap. The loops are provided on each end, you just need to find a strap. I used an old strap from a Garment Bag and it worked fine. You can't beat this price. If you need a durable Kit Bag with plenty of room (almost too much room), this is the obvious choice.

This bag has served me over many countries and missions. The solid canvas construction was a surprise to me because of the low price. The bags size is perfect for a short mission; held a couple pairs of clothes, concealable gear (weapon, holster, couple knives, magazines) with still more room to spare. Also worked great on a deployment to hold all my Interceptor vest, helmet, MOLLE gear, and other accessories. Bag has not even popped a stitch. Great Deal. Way to CTD!!!!

This is the best value in its class. Strong canvas construction. Pack straps are sewn in place with strong thread. If you wear it like a backpack the portion than is under the straps and on your back is padded. Do not hesitate to purchase this bag.

I destroyed a personal bag while on deployment for hurricane relief in Louisiana in '08 So I was looking for basically something tough, but disposable, since I didn't know what might happen to it. I spent the $19.99 on this one and it arrived yesterday, just in time to be packed for my weekend reserve duty in Ohio. The quality is outstanding. Heavy canvas and strong stitching. I was actually surprised when I opened it. I packed it today for the weekend and it holds ALL of my "battle rattle." helmet, body armor, LBV, cold weather gear, wet weather gear, extra boots and uniforms, and still has room to spare. I can even fit my M4 in the thing after I packed. If you need a good go-bag, buy THIS bag.

Well, to say the least, this bag won. Beat out a Texas hog. The hog tried to ram us and got caught up in the empty bag when we shot the dog out of it. Not even a mark on the bag, just a blood stain- badge of honor. A+++++++++++++++++++++

I bought 2 of these bags a couple years ago. They are the best value in bag I have ever seen. Rugged and easy to handle. What first drew me to them were the additional backpack straps that I like better than a loose shoulder strap. I use one for my Hang Gliding harness helmet and miscellaneous and it all fits in it perfectly. I just purchased another one to have on hand as it was just cheaper than dirt to have an extra around.

I purchased one of these bags based on the reviews. I have not been disappointed in any way. The bag is extremely durable, with a lining in the bottom to prevent water seepage. The interior is extremely roomy. The stitching is solid, making it a workhorse of a bag. I use it to carry my camp gear, and I could not be more pleased. This is a must-buy for anyone who needs to haul a lot of gear comfortably. I was so pleased with my first two that I bought a third just to have an extra! Well worth the money.

I bought this bag a few weeks ago, and I am totally impressed with it! It is made of good quality fabric, has plenty of room, and I love how I can wear it like a backpack! A few people asked me how much it was. They couldn't believe that it was only 20 dollars! They all told me that they plan on getting one for themselves very soon. This bag is enormous! I have been in the Marines for 6 years with a weapons company, we have used bags to carry stakes, plates, mortars, barrels, extra ammo, etc. This bag reminds me of those issued ones, the canvas is THICK and the stitching is solid. The vinyl bottom is thick like an innertube, so I think it will do the job and then some. When I got it, to test it I put 10 lb shooting bags, 1 circular saw, sawzall, 18 vlt drill, couple kbars, 500 rnds of 5.56, shooting supplies, and about a 2 dozen wrenches, screwdrivers, and a few other tools in this thing with room to spare! Lugged it upstairs with a few good hefts and even though it was really heavy you can tell it was made solid! LOVE it. I got some adjustable straps to strap it tight and everything stays snug when your toss it on backpack style.

I was surprised at how much this assault bag holds. Besides the 3 exterior Pockets this bag has one or two interior small zip type pockets. The bag is study and a very good deal!

For the price ,This bag is a steal.I stow all my dive gear,With plenty of room to spare.The good thing about this bag is,I can beat the hell out of it and if it gets too damaged to use ,I can just buy another one ,No big deal.My next order will be for six more.

I have had this bag for a month, and I waited to see how much I could pack in. This thing holds two weeks worth of clothes, as well as extras. It's made of some heavy duty fabric that holds up well to the elements. the backpack feature is fun as people give you weird looks going through airports. buy ten!

I use this bag to carry about 50 pounds of paintball equipment to games. It's pretty solid, there's no sign of the stitching coming apart after about a year of regular use, the fabric has held up well after being caught on branches and being thrown around the woods as well. It's very utilitarian, it definitely is not a sexy looking bag, but if you're in the market for a bag like this, I think sexy isn't your top concern anyway.

The construction appears to be solid. The bag will do nicely for what I intend to use it for, weekend trips and short vacations. It should hold what I need and have some room for things I picked up along the way.

Great bag for the price. Have travelled extensively with it internationally. carries a lot of stuff. even if you start out travelling light you might want to come back with more stuff and this bag will allow you room to load up for the trip back home. One problem I had was the vynil bottom was cut open by customs because they were probably checking for drugs when I was coming back from SA. Same thing will probably happen to others. Much better than a standard duffel back and much more versatile. great for storing things as well.

This is a great bag. Everyone should have one, it's huge and has plenty of storage pouches. Even has a rubber lower section to help deture water when you set it down in the rain.

The bag is OK...period. I do not believe it is worth all the praise lavished on it below. It is clearly "other than made in America" and that's very easy to tell, as the third world stitching indicates. As far as "heavy canvas" I would describe it as functional, nothing more. The vinyl bottom is a bit cheezy but the multitude of storage pockest with this bag makes me wish someone would make a class bag with these features. Unfortunately, this one is not. It's a twenty dollar bag and that says it all....... I bought 2 and do not regret the purchase, however from all the hype below, I was expecting something a bit better.

Everything everyone else has said is right. The massive amount of space is impressive. It's a tough bag. I don't see it breaking anytime soon. Also, it's pretty darn comfortable to wear with 50lbs stuffed into it. I'm very happy with my purchase, and like everyone else said... I wonder why I didn't get two or three more when I had the chance!

This is a huge bag for the money! Be aware that it is cotton, so you may want to waterproof it if you plan on using it in less than dry climates. You may want to buy more than one, as it is very versatile!

First off, as the name of this item implies, it is NOT a military surplus item but is a copy of the Israeli Assault Bag, made by Texsport as the label says. Having said that though, this bag surprised me with how well built and BIG it actually was. For $20 I was not expecting much, especially for a commercially made item. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is indeed BIG with a capacity that I conservatively calculate at 6000 cubic inches, or about 100 liters. Compare that to the specs for commercial back packs and you'll see that it is huge in comparison. I was actually in the market for a Duluth Pack for canoeing but this bag is just as big but at 1/8th the price and twice the usefulness since it can also be used as luggage and other non-camping purposes. Other things I like about it are it is NOT made in China (India according to the label), it has a plethora or outside and inside pockets, metal D rings for attaching stuff too big to fit inside, and it doesn't smell musty like a lot of surplus gear. It handily fits my two person dome tent, 2 sleeping bags, 2 thermarest pads, 12X12 nylon fly and lots of odds and ends. The only downside to this item is CTD charged my over $10 S&H for a $20 item! Oh well, I think I need at least 2 more, one for each of my college bound kids...

One nice, well built bag. This can't be beat for $20. Very sturdy & has lots of room. Only problem is that I will end up putting too much in it & won't be able to lift it... But from the look & feel, it will still hold together. Well done CTD! Products like this one keep me coming back.

Holds all my scuba gear; 80cf tank, long fins, BC, etc. No more multiple trips humping gear down to the water. The shoulder straps don't look sturdy enough to hold up under all that weight but the 2" wrap around handle straps will get over one shoulder and there's no way they'll fail.

Honestly had a few doubts before I received this bag. Once I pulled if from the box I was amazed how I was able to buy it for under $20! Working in EMS and such, I can't keep a duffle bag for more than 2-3 months without it tearing a strap or wearing a hole in the bottom. This bag is constructed 10x better than any duffle I've seen at the local stores and it's 1/3 of the price. Bag is larger than I imagined too -- I can stash 2 change of uniforms, boots, casual clothes, and still have tons of space. I'll definately be purchasing a couple more!

I purchased this bag over three years ago and use it all the time for camping, etc. Even though I abuse the heck out of it, it still hasn't broken. The corners of the leather bottom have worn out, but it still functions beautifully.

I don't know how they can sell this at under 20 bucks. It is brand new and built like a serious piece of equipment. The price was so low (with club) it made me suspicious, but this bag is solid. It is the ultimate range bag or full load-out bug out bag. It will fit my AR (in 2 pieces) and has a big putside pocket perfect for mags. I toss ammo in there for a bunch of other guns and targets whatever else. Then hoist it on like a backpack and it makes it easy to carry a large load in a relatively discrete manner.

I have seen this same bag for sale at over 50 dollars elsewhere. Outstanding value and quality.

I was very pleasantly suprised when I got this bag. The bottom rutbberized over the quality canvas, like you could drag it over rocks etc with now visible wear. Has mulfiple compartments insideand out, an ID window, great stitching, it's not coming apart anytime soon AND what I really like is that as advertised, it does have handles that double as shoulder harnesses so you can pack it if needed. The cool thing about them though is that they are padded, adjustable and comfortable. Not a cheap after thought like some bags have. I'd Definitely take this on a flight to Mexico or wherever. Can be secured if you get some small locks. One last thing and I'm outa here, it's an awsome bag to use if you believe having a safety kit around and ready if there were an earthquake, flood, whatever. You can pack some food, clothing, boots, grenades ;) whatever and toss it in the trunk etc. Thanks CTD for all the cool stuff.
