Be prepared for any emergency with these pre-packaged freeze dried food kits. Each kit comes with its own storage bucket and provides a variety of healthy meals in packages that last from 72 hours to over a year.

Each pouch contains 2 servings. Simply bring 4 cups of water to a boil, stir in contents of one pouch, turn off heat and allow to just stand and simmer for 12 minutes.

This sampler pack now included real meat. These are ready-made meals packed in airtight NITROGEN PACKED pouches. The unique packaging process removes the majority of the residual oxygen by immediately packing nitrogen into the mylar bag. This in turn simplifies the preparation process by not having to first locate and then remove an oxygen absorber from each individual pouch.

Ordered the sample kit. As always, the CTD order arrived on time. After looking over the package, I saw that these are clearly marked 100% vegetarian. As I don't drive down the vegan road, I was a bit apprehensive, but decided to give them a try. I was surprised that the taste was very good! After adding the 2 cups of boiling water, I found that the 12 minute sitting time was not enough. 20 minutes is better to let everything absorb. The sodium content is actually quite high on these entrees, but in situations where a lot of sweat is the norm, this is not really a big issue. I'll be ordering more to supplement my SHTF food supply. Order the sample pack and judge for yourself. You just might like it!
