Just Water, monolithic ceramic drip filter works as well as the high end British ones only at a fraction of the cost!

This half-micron filter removes water-borne bacterium with a 0.5 micron efficiency which exceeds NSF standards. The ceramic filter can be cleaned with a soft brush at least 100 times, and it produces 14 gallons of drinking water per day. This system includes a ceramic filter, filter sock, and spigot.

Simply double stack two clean five gallon buckets with lids, drill a 1/2" hole in the bottom of the top bucket and through the top of the bottom buckets lid, place sock over filter and install it in the bottom of the top bucket. Drill a 3/4" hole on the side and near the bottom of the bottom bucket and install the spigot. Fill the top bucket with water from a lake, rain, tap, river or stream and in an hour you will have bacteria free water to drink in the bottom bucket.

Ordered on Sunday recieved on Wednesday, in perfect condition. Simple set up and use. I won't use it, until it's needed, it does look fragile, and will be stored and used accordingly. Never had a bad order from CTD.

It does filter quite well. However while trying to get the lid back on the bottom bucket, I dropped the top bucket and filter about a foot onto my carpet, empty, and the filter broke off. Yes they say that could happen if you try to unscrew the filter without grabbing the bottom of it to unscrew. And I don't expect it to be built like a tank, but, could be that this is a product that might be used in bad situlations, where it might run into a few bumps along the way. I will continue to support and order from CTD, but certainly won't order anymore of this product. Too fragile in my opinion.

Great product BUT you can't use a gamma lid for the bottom bucket lid. You have to find a Flat lid,the threads are too short on the filter for the gamma lid ! I also added a pack of cheese cloth & colander to the kit for a pre-filter system while pouring water into the top bucket.This will keeper your filter cleaner longer.

Install was fast, thanks to the video. I am going to purchase at least 2 more. With cleaing you can get 1400 gal. of fresh water. You just can't beat that! I used 5 gal. buckets from my local hardware store and that worked fine. And as always super fast shipping.
