I have this grip, and after reading the previous comments, wanted to state that it does take a few minutes of manipulation to get it to go on, but doesn't need shaved or anything. While it is certainly true that, if you simply lay it up to the mounting bracket, it is narrower; however that doesn't mean it doesn't fit....just push harder, you will prevail. You wouldn't want it to be loose. So if you read the earlier comments and was turned off because you thought you had to shave it, don't worry. Semper fi.

The grip is a little wider than the grip that came on my DPMS, which actually makes it a little more comfortable for me. It has a fair sized internal compartment to hold small items, with an awkward little metal piece that keeps it closed. No big deal. The only problem it that the handle doesn't slip over the metal when going on the rifle. I had to shave some of the plastic off in order for it to fit. Other than that, a very nice purchase I would make again.
