Russian military 7.62x54R ammunition, 149 grain, BT FMJ, LPS Silver-tipped bullet produced from the 1970s to 1980s. Steel core, steel cased, Berdan primed, and bimetal jacket packed in a sealed 440 round spam can with 20 round sub packs, ideal for long term storage.

This excellent ammo performs well in both old and new model firearms and is corrosive. Clean your gun after using. Note: some lots may not have the tip of the bullet painted silver. This ammo is still manufactured to the same specs. Can opener not included.

Note: Bimetal bullet jacket contains steel and therefore will attract a magnet.

Member ship at range: $250 1934 Mosin Nagant: $110 440 rounds of 7.62x54r: $94 Opening a sealed can of ammo with no opener: Priceless This was hard as heck to open, took me about an hour to figure it out, wedge and a hammer. no regular can opener will fit. opening this WILL make you a man, so that deducts a star/bullet. Also, they are magnetized, so you probably wont be able to shoot that at an indoor range. it might get 4 stars/bullets after i shoot it. If it stays sealed, it will last a life time, so its good for the Zombie infestation, as long as you can open it in time.

I only purchased one can of this ammo, but now i regret not buying more. I was skeptical of buying corrosive ammo at first, but its very easy to clean. No FTF or FTE. Very satisfied with this ammo.

3.0 Rating 2nd can... - 9/17/2010
Reviewer: G
The first can I purchased was in perfect order, however this second can, once opened (which is a pain in the...) had broken shells, gun powder everywhere. At the range I went through about 10 shots before I had to use an extractor. The cans seems to be hit or miss 50/50

The Good: -Super cheap Mosin Ammo. -Shoots fine -Comes in air tight spam can for long storage The Bad: -corrosive (your gun will rust if not cleaned) -Cant use at most gun ranges due to the bimetal bullet -Spam can is kinda hard to get into (I use a grinder)
