Here are the facts: it's cheap ammo that is great for shooting and setting your sights; not the best for home defense, but then again, hollow points are better for that anyway; and it is dirty but you should clean your gun after you shoot anyway. Conclusion: for the price, you cannot beat this ammo unless you can reload your own ammo, at which point why are you looking at steel casings anyway?

You can buy up 10 boxes of this stuff and they may all fire, not particularly dirty, but the accuracy of the rounds is poor. Granted, the gun has a lot to do with this too, but the loads are not uniform across even a single box, and consistency is key when target shooting. So, out of the ten boxes you buy, perhaps you can compile 50 rounds that are consistent and worth practicing with. Do yourself a favor and consider better quality and uniform loads if accuracy is important to you. This is not the stuff to buy unless you just want to fire a gun off at the range, not worrying about precision. If the makers can tighten their tolerances a hair more I will buy again. But for now, I'll pay two or three dollars more for accuracy and uniformity.

Love cheap ammo and CTD provides me 80% of it. I appreciate reading well thought out reviews and find them helpful, so thanks to my fellow shooters. Hopefully I can live up to that benchmark. As I read elsewhere, with ammo it really is "does my gun work with this ammo," not "does this ammo work with my gun?" Of course it would be nice if all ammo worked with all guns. But what are u gonna do? I shot this Tula .45 thru 2 guns: Ruger P345 (100 rnds using 8 rnd mag) and FNH (150 rnds using 14 rnd mag). Ruger - Very little isssue. No FFs. Dirty, but cheap. While it is full frame, it isn't as large as the FNH (shorter distance between sites) which is at least part of my excuse for accuracy issues;) I'd give this ammo 4 bullets using in the Ruger. FNH - 8 of 10 rnds FTE and 1 of 10 FF. Large frame ... I mean LARGE frame handgun. VERY nice grouping and accurate. Long distance between sites provided for well placed paper hits. Seldom had any kind of wild round and never more than 2 inches off which could have just as easily been me. I'd give this ammo 1 bullet using in FNH due to FF & FTE. FYI - Regarding Tula .40, shot it thru 3 different H&K models, P2000, Compact, Full Frame, with seldom to no issues. Rate it as 4 for those guns. Will shoot thru Glock 22 later.

Shot 100 rounds using my Glock 30. All fed with no issues and went bang. A lil smokey though.

This is some dirty stuff. It fired every time, but will not hold as tight of groupings as brass cased, higher quality ammo.
