This ammo runs great in my Velocity dedicated upper. The wierd smell is from Eley priming.

This is fun ammo to shoot. Put it in a pistol and you'll actually have a (tiny) bit of a kick, and the retort is louder too. I've noticed accuracy is not quite as good as others. I've shoot about 100 rounds so far with no failures to feed, fire, or eject. The extra umph makes sure even stubborn semi-auto 22s cycle.

Actually, this is the only stuff that I've been able to consistently get my CMMG conversion kit for my AR, to cycle properly. Only drawback is it tends to gum it up faster than usual.

I have shot severl hundred rounds through my old Ruger 10/22 with no problems at all. This ammo has some different smelling powder, smells like amonia but this ammo is some of the best on the market. Extreamly accurate at 100 yards, I am very happy with this ammo, buy some before Febuary 11, 2010.

well,, this ammo is good , reliable and definitely has a kick to it ...when you switch to this at the range from something quieter... people start looking funny at you :)
