The PMAG is a lightweight AR15/M16 compatible magazine. It features an advanced impact resistant polymer construction, a pop off Impact/Dust Cover for storage, and an easy to disassemble design with a flared floorplate for positive magazine extraction from pouches. The PMAG 30 utilizes a resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance and an anti tilt, self lubricating follower for increased reliability.

The Gen 2 revision has been updated with a new body ribbing design which allows for better compatibility with aftermarket mag couplers, a new follower which provides even smoother loading with military stripper clips, and the Impact/Dust Cover can now be snapped onto the floorplate when not in use to prevent possible loss.

Note: Magpul has recently released the Gen 3 M3 Magazine. The magazines listed on this page are Gen 2 PMAGs with the dust covers. The M3 magazines will have a different part number when we receive them.

My Ruger came with two of these, so I ordered a couple more and they have been PERFECT, just like the factory ones. Could not say if they will work for other ARs but in a Ruger 556, they work like they should! Very happy.

These mags are great. They fit well, never hang, and are tough as nails. For the money, you won't beat. Try buying Magpul mags from a store and you will probably pay quite a bit more. Magpul lives up to their rep for sure. If you want a reliable, tough quality mag, don't go anywhere else. These are sweet. Shopping is fast as always with CTD.

Simply the best. You will not be disappointed with these at all. These windowless mags are a no-brainer also, because if you can't tell how much ammo is in a mag just by the weight alone, you will need to get some training wheels with your order. Save the difference and get a few more of these mags instead. You will be glad you did.

Great magazine for the price. The only problem I have with mine is while using them on full auto, it's as if the spring can't keep up. It doesn't jam or anything. It will just shoot 5 to 6 and then the chamber will be empty and I'll have to reload. But for semi auto and 3 round burst, it works great. Very durable, great product. I just have to stick with steel mags for full auto.
