We found a limited supply of empty cases originally issued to hold the AN/TVS-5 Night Vision Sight.

Each case is constructed of thick aluminum to withstand tons of punishment. Top and bottom halves separate completely turning the case into two independent trays with a handle attached to one.

Six, aluminum, lever type closures keep the case tightly closed and will not rust.

These have been repainted flat black.

Cases are air and watertight and have a rubber o-ring seal, and pressure release valve built in.

In Grade 2 condition showing some signs of wear, but still fully functional with years of use left. Limited supply.

External Dimensions: 20" x 13" x 10"
Internal Dimensions: 18" x 11" x 9"

Nice case. Would have given it 5 bullets but mine had a broken hasp. Blame it on Quality Control. Fortunately, I'm a retired aircraft mechanic, so I was able to repair the broken rivet on spring hasp. A new case like this would probably sell for $100 plus. One of my brother's avionics friends thought it was an aircraft navigation Sextant case. Good find, CTD.
