I wound up buying three of these for use on AR-15s. If you're looking for total optical perfection, save your pennies until you can afford the Aimpoint. If you'd rather spend that money on ammo, this is a much better choice. Mounting couldn't be easier. I put mine on an angle mount for use as a close quarters sight. This put the scope right over the front of the ejection port. There have been no issues with brass hitting the sight or jamming. Optics are clear on all three I received. The dot blooms at high settings, but I had mine out on a partly cloudy day and the dot was a perfect circle on 5. Adjustments under the caps were easy and predictable. I got centered up within six rounds. Changing the rheostat position brought out the only significant flaw I've seen so far. Going one direction is easier than the other and there are some spots where the knob turns harder than others. Bottom line is that if you're willing to put up with the possibility of trading out a bad sight until you get a good one, this BSA will do everything you need. Just inspect the sight carefully when it arrives and don't be shy about sending it back if it isn't right. Then spend the five Benjamins you save on ammo!
