Long distance target shooting and predator/varmint hunting is no problem with the 4-16x magnification on this scope from Leapers. Emerald coated lenses give a clear crisp image, and an illuminated red/green mil-dot reticle makes it easy to see your crosshairs under any lighting condition. Parallax is adjustable from 5 yards to infinity.

I got this scope last week and finally got to shoot with it on my S&W M&P15-22. I followed the manual and had to move the windage quite a few clicks to get it over where I was aiming. I got it sighted in at 75 instead of the recommended 100 yards. I am more confident that my .22 will do the job at 75 yards better than trying 100 yards on coyotes. I used a saw horse and a chair to shoot from, which I will not use in the field, but I wanted a fairly solid rest to shoot from. I chose to use a .22 with this, as with the right ammunition, I think it will be very effective on coyotes if you place your shot well. I am excited to hunt with it now, as I was grouping in 2 or 3 inch groups at 75 yards. I have to say I am impressed with this low priced scope. I would recommend it to anyone on a budget as I am.

Wow. This scope is spot on. But long as I had to mount both clamps on the rear tube together, due to its overall length (didn't want to wear a black eye). If you've driven a scope into your eye protection, you'll know what I mean. Was weary at first but dialed it in at 4th pull and hit 2" groups at 200 yards. Good eye relief, so will split mounts later as recoil on Sig m400 is minimal. Cannot beat that scope price, and to use it to dial in my laser was simple. Highly recommended.

Bigger than what I expected. I mounted it on my AR-15 and had it zeroed in with two shots. I was hitting shotgun shells at 50 yards no problem every time and shooting Ballantine's bottles @ 50 yards. For the price, you can't beat it. Worth every penny. The zero locking mechanism really works.

I bought one of these scopes for my Remington 770 .308 and let me tell you it works great. The big plus on this scope is that it has the locking turrets on the windage and elevation knobs so that once you sighted it in, it stays that way and it prevents it from moving when bumped. I just ordered a Mosin Nagant and I'm getting another for it. For the money, I'd get it. And by the way, I put about 75 rounds of 150 grain down range with my .308 and it didn't even budge.

This is a great scope. I looked at a number of high dollar items and was very surprised at how well this matches them. I have a number of shooters in the group I deal with and a master gunsmith. As I worked on sighting it in, I had the master gunsmith jump in and help. Come to find out he uses one himself. As we sighted the gun in, the group jumped in. I now have three others telling me they will be buying one also. Well worth it...

I absolutely love this scope!!! I have not put a large amount of rounds through my rifle, so I don't know how it will stand up over time, but for now, this is the best $$ I have spent. The adjustments are easy, the adjustable parallax is smooth, and the rings that come with the scope are pretty nice. I am going to buy another for my bolt rifle. I currently have it mounted on a LR-308.

This is an awesome scope for the money! I must admit this is my first scope. However, I did a lot of research prior to purchase, as my budget was tight. Having the rings included was a big plus. Focus was sharp at all ranges, and the W/E turret clicks were nice and crisp. I initially put this on my little 10/22. Being a noob with a scope, it took about 21 rounds to dial it in at 80 yds. From a table rest, 1" groups at 200 yds were not difficult. This thing is FUN. I’m about to order another for my G3, and a third one for my .308 down the road.

I just ordered a 2nd one for my M16. I mounted the 1st one on my M1a and hit the range. Only took 12 rounds to zero and after 200 plus rounds holding zero. This scope is an eye catcher. Looks great on my M1a and functions flawlessly. I received quite a few comments at the range (all good). One guy even offered me $5300 for my rifle but I had to say no way. All totaled I only have $2400 wrapped up in it. I LOVE my Springfield so there you are. Fast shipping as always.

So far 3 guys have seen this on my Bushmaster carbon-15 and guessed it was a $300+ scope. The mounts alone would have cost me $65 at the local gun shop. I did have to take the rear iron site off the top rail to fit the scope. But leaving it on the lowest (4x) setting focused on 100ft seems to be working great for FAST target accession. I think it just became a permanent attachment. If you have a long top rail be aware the front cover wraps around the focus ring and makes it exactly even with the mounts; therefore the cover rubs on the rail. My forward rail replaced the heat guard and I can take just the top rail off the quad assembly to get the 1/8" clearance. Otherwise I might consider a set of rings/mounts that would raise it up slightly. 5 brightness steps for each color (red/green) of the illuminated reticle. Clear English directions included. Well packaged with quality HD foam in a sturdy box. I'm recommending it to my other AR-15 buddies!

Just got this in the other day and mounted on my RPK, on a side rail adjustable mount which clears the iron sights so I can still use both. Got the new scope sighted in and so far scope and mount are holding firm, 100 rounds so far.

I bought this to throw on to my varmit .223... I was a little concerned with the price being so low.. I put it on and sighted it in... put 500 + rounds down range... This scope functioned perfectly... I purchased 2 more for various rifles... Good buy...

I too was secptical of the price on this scope, but it met my budget and most of my requirements. It is in fact an excelent product for my M4 AR 223 that I built on a budget. First the shipping from CTD was outstanding and way better than other internet sellers (2 1/2 days). Second, I was blown away with the set of rings shipped with this scope much much much better than anything I expected for this price. The optics are extreemly clear on all powers up to 14 or 15 power, yes you will see some flaring at 16 power but that is because of the short focal length, it is not a $800 scope nor should one expect it to be. The IR feature is also great and clearer than most of my scopes that are IR and this one beats them out by far, I think I fell in love with the green ilumination. The locking zero rings on the turrets work great, don't have them on any of my other scopes even at more cost and the re-zeroing caps work without a problem so why not a 5 star rating, I am a P-4 retical fan and the only thing that would improve this scope would be a p-4 retical instead of the mil-dots, but a small price to pay for such a nice scope. Scope looks really good on my Mini 14 however, I have to move my head back to get the proper eye relief. I guess I can get a longer mount. The shipping rate was very exhorbant. I would have been happy with the regular postal service as it was quite a while on my wait. I have bought clips and now scope and I hope the scope works as well as the 30 rnd Tapco clips.

Put it on my Zastava PAP 7.62 and needed a 1/2' riser. Once that was set,I bore sighted and went to the range .First 10 rnd mag was dead on 1" group at 100yrds dead center bull. I am shocked at how well this inexpensive scope works. Holds zero every shot. Want to figure out how to put one on my yugo SKS.Highly recomend this one. Thanks to CTD is 6-10 dollars cheaper here.

this scope is pretty good so far. I shot 200rds, and it only took me 6 shots to find my zero after boresighting. I shot several .50" groups with my olympic arms k16.. The scope is really just about way too big for my AR, its all the way forward on my rail, and I still have to move my head farther back than I would like to get a good eye relief/ sight picture. The clarity could be a little better and a shorter eye relief would be nice.. but other than that Im happy.. I may end up putting this scope on a .308 later and find a slightly smaller scope for my k16

Don't waste your time with this if you plan on putting it on anything other than a rimfire. The glass isn't horrible but not too much good to be said about the other features. Even with the adjustable objective the magnification on this scope is pretty much useless past 12x. This scope is fairly blurry around the edges as well. The lighted reticle has ring of light all the way around the ocular portion, in a good scope only the reticle should be illuminated. The turret caps for adjustment don't have an overly solid feel but I'm also used to a PSO scope on my PSL. After the initial sighting in the scope lost zero after about 5 rounds(150g .308) and this was with Burris rings and bases. After the first shot the illumination adjustment also failed. This allowed the scope to change reticle color and brightness on it's own with each shot fired from the rifle. I'm also having a heck of a time with the warranty claim on the scope. So unless you want to build a "tacticool" .22 or other rimfire, I wouldn't purchase this. If you want to put a scope on a bigger caliber rifle spend a little extra and at least buy a Nikon Pro-Staff or a Burris Fullfield II, which I now own both. This will save you a from a huge headache later, trust me. Don't be fooled by all the cool features it offers, not worth it in the long run.

I bought this scope and I was a little skeptical. Arrival time was fast, as usual. In mounted it on a Stag 2TL and took it to the range. I was shooting a 1" group at 100 yards within 20 rounds. The only issue is when the scope is mounted on the rings that come with the scope, the front flip cover will not fit the rail. Overall, it is a nice scope for a really nice price.

Bought this scope for my 22-250 and I love it. It arrived as usual, in less than 3 days and was on my rifle as soon as I could get my tool bag. Once at the range, I had my rifle shooting 1/2 inch groups at 100yds in no time. And took a large doe three days later at my lease in San Marcos. The only issue with the order is that the rings/bases are too tall for my liking but I used the Weaver rings that I already had. This scope is a great buy (500.00 scope performance for a fraction of the cost).

I was really looking forward to shooting this thing. I mounted it on a customized 10-22 that shoots 1/4" patterns at 25 yards. The first shot didn't even hit the paper. Brought the paper in to 20' and with cross hairs on center, shot 6" low and 4" right, brought center in fine but with full elevation cranked in still shot 2" low. Checked mount and rings. All within .006". Hoping their return policy is as good as they say. Completely willing to have another go with new one and eat my words.

I felt like I was taking a gamble buying this scope since all the others with these specs costs many times more than this one, and since I've put it on my Savage 10FP .308 I've been waiting for the other shoe to drop. So far it has worked great. It was easy to zero and has held it there with no problems. The illuminated reticle is quite good in that it fits directly over the cross hairs and doesnt mess with your zero. I havent used this scope in anything but pretty nice days so I can't say how it works in the fog or wet conditions. The only thing I would mention as a negative is that the cross hairs are a little large, not enormous, but not exactly as small as one would like for 800+ yards. Other than that and for the price, I would absolutely recommend this product.

This is a great scope for the money. I put it on my DPMS LR308 and had it shooting 2" groups at a 100 within half a mag. I would have given it 4 bullets but I thought the rings where pretty weak. I used some weaver tacticals and I can't wait to take it downrange.
