One of our sled dogs received a puncture wound which passed completely through his leg and severed a major artery. He had severe bleeding and was close to passing out. I applied this bandage and some wonder dust and the bleeding stopped almost immediately. I was very impressed! I highly recommend this bandage.

These bandages were first demonstrated to me during a US Army Combat Lifesaver Course. Since then, I always keep a few at home and in the car. They are far better than the standard issue field dressing. I recommend buying an extra one to open and practice with.
