Magpul's 30 round .223 Polymer Magazine is a lightweight 5.56 NATO, AR-15 magazine that features a pop-off storage/dust cover that alleviates pressure from the feed lips, allowing for long-term storage of loaded magazines. PMAG also has a stainless steel spring that resists corrosion, constant-curve geometry, and an anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower for increased reliability. Your choice of two colors, with or without a MagLevel indicator window.


Note: Magpul has recently released the Gen 3 M3 Magazine. The magazines listed on this page are Gen 2 PMAGs with the dust covers. The M3 magazines will have a different part number when we receive them.

These mags are the only ones I will buy now. Tuff as nails and work w/o fail so far... Cost less than most other mags and you can get them in your choice of color to match your end game use. The windowed option is cool but I see no need for it for my application so I'll stick with the plain one's and save on cost.

Was going to order some more but I grabbed one I just received and it's not nearly as well built as the photo shows. Much cheaper and thinner. Love ya CTD but you need to update your photo. Shame on you magpul.

After some research I found the newer version of the pmag may not resemble the older but the pmag is just as reliable and strong as the older version if not more so. I use mine often and will be buying more. Thanks magpul.

These are not the same magazines shown in the picture. The sidewalls are thinner and the redesigned, "improved" M-series are not as sturdy as the pre-March, '09 magazines. They are still fine for casual range use, but you should seriously stress-test this new design prior to committing them to a professional role. Brand new, out of the bag, each one of the magazines I ordered failed the Go/Nogo gage integrated into the snap cover. The rounds are not held securely after even a two-week storage period and the magazine rattle loudly when fully loaded. Again, it's a great magazine for range use, but don't rely on previous "advertising" to convince you of the Magpul quality. As far as I'm concerned, Magpul dropped the ball in their attempt to fill all their orders...

Haven't been to the range yet(ice/20-30mph winds) but these look good load easey, even number 30. Great with magpuls. Wish we had them at work!

These mags are leaps and bounds better than USGI, Orlite and the surplus Isreali mags out there. I've used these three in my Carbon 15 and always have the occasional failure to feed or failure to properly extract. Believe it or not, switching to PMags has brought my rifle's function to 100%. Carbon 15's do have a bad rap, but now I'm definitely happy. The cost and quality you get makes this a no-brainer (plus, it supports what has now become my favorite brand!) is usually picky, but using these mags the feeding is smooth and function is 100% (probably the mags I mentioned above didn't help with the reliability problems). Definitely pick up a couple and try them yourselves! Incredible price too.

Definently the best magazines ever made one fell out of my mag pouch during a fire fight, and landed directly in a mudd puddle. It was the only thing i had left so i jammed it in to my M4 and started cranking away rounds. If you want the best mags ever made buy these. You can also check them out of Youtube for their durablity test 20,000 pounds or something crazy like that to break them thanks magpul, for saving my butt
