Upgrade your commercial sized buffer tube equipped AR with the Magpul CTR (Compact/Type Restricted) collapsible stock. Intended to be completely snag free, the CTR uses an A-frame design and a shielded release latch to prevent inadvertent activation. It's further equipped with an extra power lock mechanism that uses a premium chrome-silicon spring to further prevent collapse failure and maintains strength by resisting spring relaxation. The CTR also includes a premium friction lock system that minimizes wobble (friction lock performance may vary depending on the receiver extension's dimensional tolerances) for enhanced weapon stability and accuracy. The Commercial-Spec Model includes an extended 0.55" rubber butt-pad to provide positive shoulder purchase and accommodates the longer, slanted back common to most commercial-spec tubes. Made in U.S.A.

Installed in less than 5 minutes. Frist time shooting today ran 120 rounds, feels great no wobble wobble lol. Recoil is like shooing a 22 mag rifle. As to using the the other stock that came with my AR-15. Also looks very nice with my other upgrades on my S&W M&P-15. Gave the item 5 bullets its a Magpul stock only the best. I give CTD 5 too very fast shipping and lowest price's. Hope my review is helpful. Thanks..

This stock fit on easy and looks great. The friction lock ensures no wobble at all, which I struggled with on my DPMS factory stock. Worth the extra money for the friction lock. Get it if you like the look.

I had my factory Bushmaster stock on there that wobbled like no other until I put this Magpul stock with friction lock...problem elliminated!
