Precision fire control group manufactured in the USA by Timney is one of the finest replacement trigger groups available. Does not require gunsmithing; simply remove the old assembly and drop-in the new assembly, works with small pin, .154", receivers only. Smooth, crisp, single-stage 3 pound trigger pull housed in a lightweight 6061, T6 alloy is anodized for durability. This replacement trigger gives your AR-15 a bolt-action feel.

Will not work on Colt AR-15 that have pins .168-.174" in diameter.

DO NOT try to install this trigger in a Colt H-BAR type AR since it did not fit mine. Colt has a block in the lower housing that will prevent the trigger from going into position. After the failed attempt on the Colt, I installed it into a Bushmaster AR and it went in just fine. No problems, except I have not had a chance to test the trigger, and that is the reason for the 4 bullets (probably not fair since everyone else has given it great reviews). It does seem to operate just fine, but I'm still not convinced a different trigger will make that much difference in the accuracy. I hope so.

great trigger if the bolt action feel is what your going for. timney is known for great triggers 1 warning before you buy make sure your trigger pins are the right size. when you install make sure you torque down on the set screws if you are not buying a set of anti drift pins. the trigger has a crisp clean break with no take up. trigger reset is clean and audible. easy install. but if set screws are not torqued down trigger will rock back and forth and give you a bump fire and possibly loose a trigger pin. recommend blue locktite on set screws if not already there.

Popped this into my Colt AR-15 A2 HBAR that I bought in the late '80s. It's always been a great rifle but had a rather "crunchy" trigger. What a difference this trigger makes! I took it to the range yesterday and hit nearly everything I aimed at. I still need to see how it does on a paper target but I'm sure it will be impressive! Installation was very easy although the small locking screws were a bit tricky to get past the springs. It made a big difference in what was already a fine rifle. I couldn't recommend it more.

Only four bullets cause i havnt fired it yet but installed like a dream 15 min tops went right in my Bushmaster no problem. The pull is crisp, clean and way better than the stock 8 pound pull.

This is a great trigger group. My AR now feels better than my trusty old Rem 700 - crisp, clean, and no travel. Now I have to get one for the 700. Helped to increased accuracy at long ranges.

Very easy to install. Works great. The only down fall is that you will end up spending a lot more on ammo because it is so much fun to shoot. This will make you a much better shooter. I am using a Smith & Wesson M&P-15 with iron sights, and I am keyholing the crap out of the target at 50 yards. I am getting another one for my M&P 15-22. Really good stuff. A must have.

I have installed Timney 3# small pin AR-15 drop-in triggers into 3 Bushmasters and 1 Stag Arms carbine rifles and never had a problem both with the installations and functioning thereafter. For the money they are probably the best and give long-term repeatable reliability in operation. One just has to follow their written instructions with attention to what you are doing and installation should not be any problem.

I'm not sure what the deal is with my situaction, but the trigger will not drop in low enough into the lower of my Bushmaster to allow the trigger/hammer pins to be alighned? I was on the phone with Kevin (3times) of Timney, and he advised me to tap it into the lower (slight punch marks now on the trigger), then the pins did tap in (nicking the bushings slightly). But it wouldn't funtion? Again Kevin advised me to heat up the set screw to loosin the loc-tite, and adjust it. I did this, and after adjusting it 3 times, ever so slight from 1 end to the other in adjustment, it still doesn't work. CTD won't take it back because I've altered it as per tech and printed instructions. Timney says send it to them (my $ ) and they'll try it? At this point I've lost confidence in this trigger, and I'm out off $200 + tax. This ain't no squirrel gun, it has a more important purpose! If You buy it, and have trouble, best to return it. I suspect the trigger is slightly too wide or my reciver is slightly too narrow, either binds the group so the hammer won't throw?

This is a very nice drop in trigger. Easy to install, breaks crisply and no malfunctions yet. My only complaint, it isn't adjustable.

This was a great addition to my Bushmaster Carbon 15. The stock trigger was mushy with a gritty feel. Hard to get good groups with such a trigger. The Timney was easy to install and breaks like the proverbial glass rod. It was definitely worth the price.

I bought this trigger after countless hours at the range trying to dial in my Bushmaster. It seemed no matter what ammo I used the accuracy was marginal at best. After installation (10 minutes) I went to the range. I should have purchased this trigger when I got the rifle. It now has the trigger pull and the accuracy of a varmint rifle. If you like to shoot your AR you will love it after you install this trigger.

I just installed this Timney 3lb ar-15 trigger group into my CMMG lower, on which I use an Alexander Arms 6.5 Grendel 19.5" barrelled upper. I am no Camp Perry Champion, but I have been shooting and reloading and competing for years and I can feel zero creep in this trigger group. There is no take-up either. The release is ultra crisp, the reset is quick and precise. In summary, better than I expected after reading some other reviews.

Purchased this trigger and love it. Took no time installing into my Bushmaster lower. Took out to the field to shoot, and found the disconnector was locking the hammer back even when trigger was pulled. Easy fix, there is a screw you can adjust the disconnector to get it to fire correctly, with a bit of Loc-Tite and it fires flawless.
