Good general practice ammo. Works well out of S&W 3 inch blued Model 13 FBI type service pistol. Recoil not bad, price was well worth buying bulk lots. I carried a .357 revolver for 19 years before my L/E agency changed to 9mm S&W, then junk Glock. Bring back Model 13 any day real gun. .357 Mag. is the best

Just like the review prior to this, these expand and get jammed in both my Ruger and Rossi revolvers. I have to pry them up or pop these out with a screw driver. They are accurate, but it's a hassle to get them out.

I just got a new, Puma 92 lever action carbine. Bought a few boxes of .357 Magnum to compare. This stuff worked great at the range. I was just shooting from a seated position, elbows resting on the bench, with a buckhorn sight, and no rest. Got some nice groupings at 25m and a fair number in the black. No feed or eject problems. Compared to some BVAC stuff I was shooting, I liked this better. Will be ordering more.

This ammo works well in my Winchester '94. The bullet nose is flat, so there is little risk of it causing issues with the round in front of it while in the tube. Feeding was flawless after each spent casing was extracted. I can't speak to accuracy, as I didn't have a means to solidly support the rifle. The negative for this round is that it will not work well in my S&W revolver. The steel cases expand too much and get stuck in the cylinder. So maybe a three bullet rating is more appropriate, since it isn't a good round for use in a revolver. But I do like them for my Winchester.
