The are few better 5.56x45mm bullets than a 64 grain bonded soft point. This offering from SSA is one of the best selections for a duty rifle, self defense carbine or a solid deer round. Silver State Armory ammunition is made from top quality compnents in the USA.

Excellent LE round that meets barrier blind standards for FBI on hard and soft targets. While many rounds deflect or fragment upon impacting hard surfaces, the PPT is designed to penetrate windshields and car doors and still reach it's target. The 64gr PPT is also an excellent hunting round where deep penetration and a non-fragmenting bullet are desired. Retains 97% of it's weight and expands to .460" dia in ballistics gel.
