.222 Remington, Hornady Varmint Express, 40 Grain V-Max Bullet, 20 Round Box.

Every Varmint Express cartridge is hand inspected before leaving our factory, ensuring there are no cosmetic flaws and imperfections. Each cartridge is loaded to ensure optimal pressure, velocity, accuracy and lot-to-lot consistency. Hornady produces most of the brass for Hornady Varmint Express ammunition. All of the brass is chosen to ensure it meets our high standards for reliable feeding, corrosion resistance, proper hardness and the ability to withstand maximum chamber pressures. Like the powder, each primer is carefully matched to individual loads, and all are chosen for their ability to quickly, completely and reliably ignite the powder charge.

V-Max Bullet Features:
Polymer tip and streamlined design for ultra flat trajectories.
Match grade jacket design provides maximum accuracy at all ranges.
Explosive expansion, even at low velocities.

I havent shot the 40 grainers but the 50 grain vmax moly coated is pretty much the best round ive ever shot out of my old savage 340. .25 grounps at 50 yards half inch groups at 100 yards. good stuff. all of hornady center fire ammo is great.
