Whatever you use a shotgun for, Federal has the right ammo for you. For example, this Vital-Shok load is designed to bring down deer decisively. This variant, in 12 gauge, has a 3-1/2" shell loaded with 18 Pellets of #00 lead buck shot which it fires at 1100 fps.

There's no questioning buckshot's performance at close range. Our patented spiral stacking process with plastic shot cup and buffering ensures dense patterns and a powerful blow. The Premium shot is copper-plated for uniform pellets and deep penetration.
