||Great Barrel - 12/18/2013|
|I decided to go with the Mossberg barrel over a Remington because the barrel is a bit heavier and has muzzle porting that did seem to help with muzzle jump. I was impressed with the grouping that I am getting with Hornady SST sabot slugs. At 100 yards it's actually 1" to 1.5" groups of 3.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied. Word of advise, use Hornady's recommendations for zeroing. Start at 25 yards and work out. Also, when you get the product in hand immediately check the torque on the scope mounts. This is the only reason that I gave 4 of 5 and not 5 of 5. They are so loose the scope with easily tilt off. (BTW, the combo I received had a decent quality Bushnell 3-9x40 not the 3-9x32 shown above).|
