1.0 Rating Pretty, but not Excellent - 8/8/2012
Reviewer: John
This is listed as Excellent Condition, but when I got mine, it was near impossible to fire in double action. I had to send it back to Century Arms to get it repaired, and they took the trigger pull from 200 lbs to about 50. Still very hard to shoot in double action. Good looking gun! Shame it's just to look at.

4.0 Rating Great condition, but different version shown - 8/15/2012
Reviewer: Sk
Great condition P64, excellent bluing, and no wear noticed. Grip shows signs of wear and scratches. Chrome barrel in excellent condition. My problem is that the P64 I received is from 1970, and not similar to the firearm shown above. I understand that the firearm may not exactly match the picture, but this is a completely different version. I was looking for the P64 shown above, a 1973 and later, with the larger hammer and modified trigger spring. As for the double action trigger, it is heavy but completely functional. I actually like the trigger pull, like a secondary safety! Overall good price for pistol, two mags, and a cleaning rod.

2.0 Rating cycling problems - 10/3/2012
Reviewer: cycling problems
Gun has problems cycling rounds. Not all the time, but enough to be a pain in the arse. One or two times per mag, the next round would have a problem getting into the breach, the nose would get in but the bolt would close on the shell casing. I tried several types of rounds, both FMJ and HP and different makers, but this didn't seem to help or hurt. I did notice that if the gun was just cleaned, it would not happen as often. I sent the gun back to Century and they couldn't find anything wrong, or so they said. But the gun was fun to shoot, fairly accurate, and kicked like a mule. If one could overlook the cycling problem, it is a pretty good gun. To clear the cycling problem, all I have to do is pull back on the slide just a little and the round cycles fine.
