|This is the cheapest .30-06 I have found. It is good for fun shooting, but not for anything serious.
I put 80 rounds through my WW2 M1 Garand.
Chamber performance: no failure to fires. Had one jam, but I think I did not seat it properly in the clip. Took all of two seconds to get it into the chamber, then the round fired.
Target performance: at 25 meters, I had a 1 inch group. Pretty loose - all up and down. At 100 meters, they were all within 2 inches left and right, but about six inches up and down. The pressure is uneven between rounds - evident to the point that the recoil changes every time you pull the trigger. Still, a lethal shot group if aiming center of mass, but I would not trust it on a hunt.
After: Absolutely filthy. Cleanup took me about twice as long as normal. Also, there were brass shavings in the chamber. I strongly recommend against re-loading this ammo.|
